  1. I'd be interested in picking up II, preferably the splatter variant, but really depends on how much it'll run. Not sure if it's a faux pas or not, but could I wait to see what the pricing is? If it's too much, I'll have to back out
  2. I've played both at least a dozen times each, so I would say they were worth it!
  3. I've never had the privilege to skate a bowl, but holy wah does that look like a blast!Stoked that in a week we're finally getting warm enough weather to get back to it! Just need to sand and paint my deck and grab some new trucks
  4. Pretty much the entire show was a big masturbation joke. And it was glorious.
  5. Care to take a crack at what their favorite game on the show was?
  6. Hey guys, how is the day treating everyone? Any new good music that should be checked out?
  7. I just wanted to say that I think you're making amazing strides, regardless of a small set back. The fact that you've made a lot of incredibly positive changes in your life is a testament to how much you've been succeeding. It's easy and understandable to get stressed about money (I'm right there with you) but instead of focusing on your perceived negative implications of getting help with finances temporarily, appreciate that your family loves you and wants to honestly help you out. You deserve help every now and then! As a side note, I got overdrafted 4 times this past year because of $3 uber rides, which ended up totaling $140 of fees. I went in and met with a banker to explain how it was an honest mistake - I thought I put my charges to a different account - and she cleared the fees for me. Maybe attempt the same and it could turn around for you?
  8. I really liked the first season of The Fall, but have yet to start the second. It is a bit slow at times, but acted very well.
  9. I really liked seeing shows in GR, despite the consistently awful crowds, as they typically felt pretty intimate and the few people who genuinely liked the bands they were seeing were sweethearts. Kalamazoo, on the other hand....no. That being said, at least you have venues down there! I have to leave the state and hit Milwaukee (if I'm lucky) for a decent show now : (
  10. Of the few options in my area, I'm fairly certain Charter is the cheapest. While I always found it unreasonably expensive - $100 for basic cable on one box and internet - maybe it'd be cheaper than TW. Not sure if this is a national chain, however. I engineered their systems and only recall working in NE, MN, IL, WI, and MI. However, HBO Now is pretty nice! While shows aren't broadcast live, they're up within 24 hours.
  11. Afternoon all of you darling people. What's new in the world of the small talk?
  12. At least he listened to it and didn't hate it? That's progress!
  13. They seem to be hitting all over, with a lot more shows in the Midwest than I expected. No love for the south, though.
  14. I'm right there with you - I certainly can't just put them on at any time. A tour featuring a double set instead of having openers, with an intermission, sounds amazing. Not sure how intimate a show can be in a large theater, but I have faith it will be worth the money for anyone who's going.
  15. I spaced on what time they went up, and when I went to check out tickets, the location was too abysmal to justify spending that kind of money :/
  16. Jesus. Let's all just admit this is sexy as fuck and cry ourselves to sleep tonight.
  17. Hey guys, wondering if any of you can help me out! My friend got an iPhone 5S from his uncle, and it's been disabled due to too many attempts at guessing the passcode (his uncle doesn't remember it). I tried factory restoring it, but the power button seems to be broken. On the phone it says to connect to iTunes, but when I attempt to, iTunes asks me to respond on the iPhone, which I obviously can't seem to do. Any chance you guys have a recommendation on how to solve this issue? Edit: Looks like I solved the issue. Huzzah.
  18. This is my dad, although add in Dire Straits. And random female pop musicians, because he's a creep :/
  19. Getting on the taco train - Antique Taco in Wicker Park had some amazing food, and even better margaritas. And a couple vegetarian options to boot! You know you want it.
  20. Thanks! I'll probably take you up on that offer. As it's been years since I've had a camera to get comfortable with, if at some point you could even critique a few of the shots that are presentable, you'd be my hero. Anyway, have a good night guys! <3
  21. I could believe it. I taught myself Photoshop CS2/3 and Illustrator, then practically taught a class on it for a semester. I've updated to CS5, but got way too overwhelmed with all of the new features - and I'm even behind. I assume making a preset is similar to making an action in Photoshop?
  22. Oh Matt, I got the chance to attempt concert photography five times the past two weeks. Seriously impressed with the work you've put in and gotten out of it - it's equally fun and frustrating haha. Same goes for Lightroom.
  23. Totally understandable. Was a staple in the house growing up - I regrettably haven't revisited it since I lost tapes of episodes I recorded. Speaking of JGL, a few years back I dated a guy who was not so secretly VERY into him. Mysterious Skin is one uncomfortable movie, I'll tell you.
