Haven't been the biggest Yellow Eyes fan, but took a chance on this and the False record.
The best thing Yellow Eyes related imo is the Ustalost album Gilead put out a couple of years ago.
Having said that I did enjoy the last YE more that their previous stuff.

I've bought them before. High hopes but always ends up being a waste of money. Fool me once.......
Yeah I think last time some people got Nasum and AxCx stuff I would've been happy with. I however got mostly shyte ala Culted and Royal Thunder the exception being Hooded Menace and to a lesser extent Fuck the Facts which I was ok with...

40USD is still a lot for a 2LP to be shipped from the UK to over these parts. Almost on par with Rise Above's releases.
Aren't hello merch and bull moose in the US?
-
Need to find somewhere I can get this for less than $65 shipped to Australia....
Love the track very much in line with the Angels of darkness... Albums which are amongst my favourites from Earth.

Interesting episode of the Radical Research podcast detailing the early 2nd wave of Norwegian BM recorded at Grieghallen.

Some choice cuts in here Immortal, Hades, Emperor. I easily forget how good early Burzum is due to the massive Varg taint...
Enjoy!

Man I've been wanting Hydra Head to repress Inalienable Dreamless and the Gridlink stuff for a while now. I remember them posting something about a potential Gridlink repress a few years ago but nothing came into fruition. I even talked to Aaron before a Sumac set and he sounded like those weren't gonna happen for the forseeable future.
You could pick up Jouhou pretty cheap from HH not long ago, might still be able to... I'm considering shelling out for a first press of The Inalienable Dreamless there are some on discogs at a semi reasonable price.

Hey... they might taste good but they’re bad for you. They suck! You can eat tasty stuff that is also good for you. Anyways, I was mostly pointing out that OHCL is fucking siiiiiiick.
Haha I knoww, and I was metorphrically trying to express that I find the album bland/uninteresting by comparing it to other things I find to also be bland /uninteresting... Brick is ok at best OCHL is below average, borderline lame imho. Strike 1 for Deafheaven, I hope I like the next one more.
I would suggest to anyone who hasn't already checked out the last Chaos Moon or Mare Cognitum albums to do so as they are full of tasty postness, riffs, carbs and gluten

Carbs and gluten suck.... so yea that’s pretty accurate!
Really?!? Low carb beer tastes like dish water, gluten free food tastes like recycled paper. But I guess if you like bland....
Track is ok, very New Bermuda... Certainly lacks the twinkly bits.

Maybe I will like the new track going by these comments... OCHL is like low carb gluten free deafheaven

Been rediscovering Discordance Axis recently and found an online book about the making of The Inalienable Dreamless enjoying it thus far:

Convulsing's awesome album Grievous finally getting a vinyl release. Snot green, limited to 250 copies. But dammmmmn @ that price AND shipping price.

Seed of Doom getting some of these might work out cheaper for EU/US

You had me at members of Chaos Moon, track slays (check profound lore YouTube)

I'm also excited about that Fuck the Universe reissue. I've never listened to Void though, is that one any good?
It is good

the price is Australian dollars so about $20 USD, but yeah the shipping is a killer from here...

Gave that a listen today. Musically I enjoyed it a lot, kind of scratches that Agalloch itch for me. I find the vocals to be tolerable at best, but I feel that way about 90% of metal bands.
Yeah definitely big Agalloch vibes, gonna listen again now while I get the kids breakfast #metaldadlyfe

That new Vanum album is sick

Not really extreme metal, but extreme hardcore anyone?
This is sick! 7inch $6 for 6 tracks.
