Hopefully this makes it way to Amazon. That's a great price for that set. I really want it but not with that shipping.

Don't get me wrong. The import is great. I've had it for years. This just comes across as very detailed, crisp and clear. It's nice.

Got my MoFi copy yesterday from MD. Sounds fantastic. Compared it to the Import pressing. MoFi sounds way more detailed. Comparing it to the import, the import feels just like a wall of sound. Which works for the blue album, but its nice getting a little more detail from the new pressing.

You're not forced to buy anything. If you want to argue its too expensive, thats fine. I'd agree. But the price doesn't negatively affect the content of the set. Botched pricing sure. Botched release? Hardly.

Botched? Really? Because there are 14 tracks on the DVD and the vinyl track list isn't the same as the original pressing?

I don't think spreading the LP out over 4 LPs is a bad thing at all. The original pressing sounded a bit cramped. It will be nice to really maximize the side real estate. Sound quality speaking. I think the revised track listing was done so that the album would fit onto 3 LPs.

They need to press There Will Be Blood.

The OP is pretty cheap packaging IMO. Sleeve is thin. I really like these tip on sleeves for the reissues. thats going to be difficult for a 4 LP 180g release. Thats why I wouldn't be surprised if they make the packaging a bit nicer. Plus it gives them more reason to jack the price. I'm not gonna be surprised if this thing does cost $100+. People want this so bad so they could charge a shit load and fans will pay it.

If it is 4LPs, I could see them doing a slightly more elaborate package for MCIS. Especially if they replicate the lyric book.

I'd guess they would spread it out over 4 discs before they add bonus tracks.
