  1. I think its a new boot that hit the market not too long ago. A few on ebay. I think its a FM sourcing. Not official boots were made in 98 (They started that in 2000). I think these shows are interesting because this was the last tour with Jack on the drums. And his only go at the Yield material live.

  3. Anyone else who got these have a skip in All The Wine? It happens right when the first or second chorus comes in. My OP had a skip at the exact same point. It was also a UK pressing.
  4. To be clear, the album cover was neer banned. They just changed it for the US release. Were they playing it safe? Probably (especially after taking off NYC Cops). But nothing was banned.
  5. They have about 80 (not including variations) or so now. Maybe a 100 by years end.
  6. I don't think they are patting themselves on the back for creating tri colored records or split colored vinyl. I think they are nodding to the Third Man Tri-color and their Third Man Black/Blue live series, which are signature releases of the Third Man catalog. Whenever an article is written about TMR it always mentions the tri color 7' and their popularity among collectors, as well as the live shows performed at the store/studio and how they are recorded and pressed. I don't think they are sayign they invented multi colored vinyl.
  7. They get label approval, not artist. Their represses are legit, but their sourcing of material is dubious. People at Steve Hoffman Forums have found out (in some cases, from just asking MOV) most sources have been CD masters. I'd be willing to be most of their 90's and 00's represses are from CDs.
  8. Music on Vinyl has been known to use a CD as their master. The quality on this will most likely not be as good as the OP.
  9. The SSFDL being sold at Brassland now is a new pressing in leftover jackets from the OP. But there are some differences. The OP of SSFDL did not include the track Fashion Coat (its not on the LP or the sleeve). This new pressing includes the track Fashion Coat. but because they are using leftover jackets from the OP, its not listed on the sleeve. I assume the new reissues (out this July) will be new jackets with the complete tracklisting and most likely this new pressing (Which sounds fantastic). Also, its great s/t is getting a new pressing. Lets hope they reissue Boxer and Alligator too and do it up nice like HV.
  10. Sound of Silver is just as good as this one (some say a little better). Their first album is spotty. Their 12" singles have been fantastic. Got the import yesterday. It sounds fantastic.
  11. There has to be more than 2000 US pressings on purple because mine is numbered in the 2200's
  12. I wouldn't be surprised if they have something lined up with The Vinyl Factory. Especially after the great job they did with the Monkey: Journey to the West package.
  13. Its just as strong as The Airing of Grievances if not better. So far, its one of the best albums of the year.
  14. Any word on the new In Utero pressing? Is it the Albini or Litt mix?
  15. Have not heard that and didn't see any talk around their messageboard about that.
  16. So word is, these have been pushed back again. Is this true?
  17. So whats the deal with these? They popped up again on the Music Direct site (and Acoustic Sounds too) with the Record Store Day release day. Now they are TBD? Any new info?
