coreystevens88 reacted to Eliminator Jr. in Black Metal Discussion Thread
I've had this in my wantlist for about six or seven years and watched the prices rise from around $200 to fucking $500 in that time. Come on..

On this fine Saturday afternoon today, I am left wondering:
"will Weakling - 'Dead as Dreams' EVER see a vinyl repress, or am I going to have to drop $500 for a first press someday?"

$22 plus $6 shipping is $28. That's nearly $30. For a double LP I'm not mad about it though; I was travelling and on mobile and just couldn't find where it said it was 2xLP.
Yeah, I just can't stand the dude that runs RE and will take every shot I can get at him. Dude is a dickhole.
Oh for sure. Monolord are great, and I went to see them live when they came through Portland. Terrific show. Like I said, I'm just anti-RE, and as you said the album art on this is a disappointment compared to the last two they put out. I'm sure the music is great though and I'll probably eventually break down and grab one of these.

Pretty much any label that subscribes to the idea of a "die hard" edition and puts out editions called "die hard" is charging a bullshit price for them. That's what that means.

Really? Personally I find it's better to have them hidden away where no one can even see them, not even me. I just like to know they're there.

wondered this as well, but since I am assuming this is coming out on their own Artemisia Record label, I kinda doubt there being other variants. Could be wrong though

Pre-order for the new WITTR album coming sooner than later? Their website is just a picture with 'Coming Soon' now!
Also, went to their store and they currently have re-presses of 'Two Hunters' back in stock!!

System of a Down box set
No picture discs, no special colors.
Just beautiful black vinyl, with a competent mastering engineer at the helm.

Did you get the bundle? The bundles seem to be what hasn't shipped, the soft goods are holding it up. I saw a FB comment that Marty hoped to finish the bundles this weekend and get them out next week

Since people are asking, I did get a shipping notice from Bindrune for this last night. Heads up.

^ I didn't mention the shipping update since I figured that only pertains to Nordvis/Euro orders, and I've not seen any updates from Bindrune regarding them yet.

I have a feeling we are going to need to be patient on this one. I highly doubt and wouldn't expect him to be shipping records right now with everything going on.

Nordvis posted a photo of the vinyl on their instagram page - can't figure out how to get the pic to embed.

Regarding the Roads To The North and Autumn Eternal represses, here's an interview with Marty from Bindrune (Panopticon's label) done in March of this year. The response to the final question is an outline on the planned label release schedule for this year, of which those represses are listed (among many other cool impeding releases).
That said, again, this interview was conducted in March. Since then, he's gone through some serious family stuff, which makes it obvious that the label is likely forced to slow down a bit (as is reasonable given the circumstances). So it might be a bit before it actually comes to fruition.
Side note: I'd love for Bindrune to do a Revisions Of The Past "part 2", covering the self titled debut and Collapse. Collapse, in particular, is an outstanding underrated record.
