really wish for stuff like this stores would be better about differentiating between variants. i don't think thats too much to ask in 2013. no way i'm paying $6 shipping for something that will be readily available in stores.

I think these sold out pretty quickly. There were 150+ comments on the facebook post like an hour and a half after it went up. I could be wrong though.

I mean its pretty ridiculous that it'll cost $13-14 to send a 7" to europe, but the good news is you can get two for the same price.

it's not really doubling for lps, 7"'s on the other hand.. first class international is the only service going up a lot. lps will go from $13.17 to $18+. 7"'s will go up to around $12.75 I think.

this thread: people complaining about $30 12" circle takes the square thread: people defending band for charging $30 for a 2xlp per unit cost is not that different.

highly unlikely that a large corporation cares about people reselling their stuff. most likely they realized they were losing money on this, so instead of doing the sensible thing (e.g. make the coupon codes unique), they decided to eliminate the department where the abuse was happening (e.g. vinyl). obviously, the coupon codes being easily available on this site is not what they had intended, its just a shame that people who actually earned those coupons don't get a chance to use them.

does anyone really have any clue about what % of hot topic's business is vinyl? i'm guessing its low single digits, if that.

this happened to me as well. thinking about at least e-mailing and getting my $2 back.
