Not sure if this is correct. I just checked my Bullmoose order because it shipped and it says the Indie Exclusive is an  Orange/Red starburst. 

orange is the indie store, black is the standard

no, i can get the black variant at my local shop for less, if im going to order online id like it to be something different.

The more I listen to this album, the more it grows on me. I mean, I liked it my first play through, but it grows with each listen. The subject matter / lyrics open up a lot once I spent some time with them, and started to break down really what was being said. It's an interesting Insomniac / Nimrod paced record with the subject matter of more so American Idiot (minus the story), while having that more matured vocal tone. Hearing some of the new songs live also helped me appreciate this album more. They played 'Bang Bang' faster, and god damn did it kill live. Even the song I didn't like (Still Breathing) was fantastic live. Whenever I manage to see Green Day live they remind me why they always will be one of my favorite bands. They have so much fucking energy; it's insane. But yeah, definitely their best album in the last 10 years. Don't know how to compare it to American Idiot yet since I haven't had that much time with it, AI being my most listened to of the last 5 albums, and that being an opera, but we'll see. I'm looking forward to hearing how this album ages.

Just got this in the mail. Took a good look at the actual vinyl in light and was very nervous about how it would play. There were some scratches and a few scuffs on it. Played it and it sounds pretty great! A bit of surface noise towards the end of side B. Now I have the album and the single on red and white. 

the new song that comes with the special edition is really good. loving it

Will report back when home.   Just gave it a quick spin on the shops table

So these have to be the first 100% XL reissues, right? Because the others are still using the old Capitol backstock. Looking forward to sound impressions.

Sounds like they're really breaking new ground on this record

i like clear vinyl. favorite after black. 

If I'm being honest, the clear w/ black smoke sounds better than both the /500 variants. 

Hot Topic will have "red with white swirl" exclusive vinyl /500 and should be up online on 10/28
