  1. Audio Technica's record cleaners are great for removing dust.
  2. I'm going for green so I'll show you this: http://www.gemm.com/item/VINDICTIVES/PARTYTIME--FOR--ASSHOLES/GML717241284/ I emailed the seller, he said it was black.
  3. I found a brand new copy a few months ago. But I bought it because my original was stolen (along with my clear party-time)
  4. I had this years ago. I thought it was a clear 10", only one. Discogs list this as a double 10". I remember the CD had almost 25 songs. I bought this by auction a few weeks ago and it was black. Can anyone shed some light into the pressing info of this release? Much appreciated.
  5. When the s/t comes out and you spin each and every one of the variants plus tests and laquers (you probably already have those), I just want to say good luck.
  6. http://www.diylife.com/2008/07/14/make-bookends-from-old-vinyl-records/
  7. I always ask sellers to sandwich the records in sturdy cardboard and then place inside a mailer. If they don't, they will surely get bent up.
  8. nope. not everybody owns a camera either. mind blowing! Where I live everyone needs a cell phone and all cell phones have cameras and email functions. I'm not sure where cell phones are at States side. When I left the US, my phone didn't have a camera.
  9. I've received all conditions of records with those gradings. Are there still cell phones without cameras? Doesn't everyone carry a cell phone these days? I find that auctions or sales on musicstack or gemm without picks = disappointing condition.
  10. thanks for the responses. I'm gonna go with A, but get some new boxes at kuroneko yamato.

  12. I'm moving. Hired movers to help (I have no car). I have about 100 LPs to move. I have two choices, A find a safe way to pack them in cardboard boxes or B move them by train and walking. In an attempt for A, I put the records upright in a box turned on it's side. The boxes are pretty flimsy. In an attempt for B, I am putting records in a hard suitcase padded with clothing. Is it safe to stack 50 LPs on top of each other for 3 days? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
  13. Get AT534 by audio-technica. This formula can fix a lot of skips. Also get AT6086 with brush AT6012X these take off dust and kill static. Use this brush with AT534
  14. I'm not Japanese, for the record. Swear that wasn't a pun. I do read and speak Japanese and am willing to help people out provided that you're patient and this isn't one way.
  15. The opposite side has a different design. But they have a lot of picture disks. Is it a cartoony face? This guy has a complete collection: http://www.normanpartridge.com/nerd/balzac.htm
  16. I used to have the Lookout versions of the the Ghoulie's records. I remember that Fun in the Dark was on black, but the other had fun colors (first colored records I ever saw) I'd like to track these down again. Question is, were entire pressings of Appetite, Born in the Basement, World Contact Day and Reanimation Festival on color? thanks
  17. Sorry about the crappy picture. BALZAC This is an incomplete collection. Moving very soon, so I can't make completing this a priority, so here's my Balzac collection: (unfortunately, their recent albums have not been released on vinyl, hence the cds. All pressings were limited releases. Picture disks have no regular format releases) (from left to right, top to bottom) Deep LP (2nd album) 13 Stairway the Children of the Night LP (3rd album) Paradox 7" End of the Century b/w Neat Neat Neat 7" Isolation from No. 13 (singles collection) 全能ナル無数ノ眼ハ死ヲ指サス (Zennou Naru Musuu no Me wa Shi wo Yubisasu) (4th album 2x LP) Terrifying (5th album)/Art of Dying - The Last Men on Earth II (recording of first album) 2x LP Came Out of the Grave LP(6th album, purple vinyl, German release. The Japanese version is on double 10" right below this. I find 10" a pain in the ass (no pun intended) so I picked up the German 12") Deep Blue (single, picture 10" this sound quality blows) Out of the Blue 7" in iPod: Dark-ism (7th album, I used to have it on CD, but gave it away. there is a picture LP of this, but I don't have it and yahoo auctions won't let me bid of $50 because I don't have a Japanese credit card, bastards) (not in collection, but in ipod: beyond the darkness, available as a picture LP, the rerecording of old songs for Misfit records, I think it blows compared to the originals, so not a priority to get) Came Out of the Grave 2x 10" (CD only:) Zodiac The Last Men on Earth (first album) Deep Blue: Chaos from Darkism II (8th album, please press on vinyl!) Hatred: Destruction=Construction (9th album, needs to be pressed on LP!) Paradox (the 7" only has two songs, but the mixes are cooler and they're the best two songs)
  18. pm me, but hurry, I'm moving soon and won't have access to the internet for a few weeks
  19. Really? Because it's pretty obvious you can get twice that.
  20. someone should bid $500 on the pink cokie and then flip it.
  21. I have an AT-PL300. Same thing but no recording and much more handsome One time my record stopped playing as well. What happened was the belt came off. Did you take off the try to see if the belt came off?
  22. all past feuds aside, this made me crack up (i have some variants, too)
