I just finished the first season of "Asura Cryin'". It ended on a cliffhanger, but not a huge one like some shows (Code Geass!). It's pretty interesting, and I definitely am looking forward to the conclusion in the fall. I also started watching BECK again, such a great anime about a band trying to make it somewhere, and all the little character story parts are good too.

I always work 2nd shift, 4-midnight. I don't know the last time I was in work before 4. I'm not a morning person, so it's going to suck getting a real job one day.

I started Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia today. It's a nice mix of 2D/3D visuals, with some quality anime cut-scenes. I am not far into it, but so far I like that there is a gauge that shows when you are close to getting into a "random" battle. The English voices are really bad, and I wish I turned them off or went with the Japanese track. I'm looking forward to really getting into the game, because it's another game that combines RPGs with dating sim elements. Also fuck Halo, I suck and never seem to improve and all I do is get frustrated playing it, and I hardly ever get frustrated at a game. I want to sell it, but then we'd have nothing to do at work on Sundays. Oh well, looks like I'll just have to only suck it up there.

- I was playing Halo 3 at work with my two co-workers, and we got split up during slayer and one was on his account and about to get a perfect, and I killed him. I felt like such a dick because he has never gotten one on his account, but he has on mine and another buddy of ours. He was not that pissed because he said he'd rather get it legit then to have me just ignored him. I still feel like a dick though. I'm sure he would have been killed before the end anyway since we lagged out for like 3 minutes and I came back with like 5 deaths during that time. - Can't decide which RPG to start.

I couldn't make it more then an hour into that game, it was just not for me. I can see why people liked it though, it is a pretty interesting concept.

Well, we'll all be screwed when the only offer HD movie for download, and all the ISPs start capping bandwidth. I agree that the different between blu-ray and DVD is not enough to justify the current price of players and discs. I'm sure soon enough they all cheapen up, just like DVDs did in a pretty short time period.

I finally beat Persona 4 and got the true ending. The final boss was pretty tough, but not that bad if you use a lot of stuff to lower his stats. I was pissed and thought I lost when he kept doing this crazy curse thing that removed everyone from the board when his health is pretty much gone. I almost shut it off too because I was so mad that I thought I lost, turns out it was supposed to happen and then I finished him off and watched the end unfold. P4 was a pretty amazing game. I still have no idea which of my 10 rpgs, I have not played, to play next.

+ Went to a party I thought was going to be super lame, but it ended up being ok. I hate theme parties, and since it was "formal" some dudes showed up in dresses and it was weird. Otherwise it was ok, though every passed out pretty fast due to the harry buffalo being way too strong. - Work + Halo at work if we are not busy, which we have not been. +/- I keep debating selling off all my anime DVDs because I could get some much needed cash back, but I know I'd miss them even though I don't watch them all that much. - My mind is racing, probably from my anxiety, and it is annoying.

The prints are going to be brown/olive and purple/ruby. I hope the purple/ruby comes with the black.

Wikipedia is wrong (no way!), it's not supposed to be there. John said it was already simple enough on the album, so they did not record a version for the acoustic album.

Any idea on how long needles last? I've noticed a decline in quality on my table lately, but I know I've not used it anywhere near that 600 hour mark yet. I think I just need a new needle.

I can't comprehend how people complain that $20 is too expensive for a record with a print, but then go out and drop hundreds on just a print. Sure it may be a better "known" artist, but it's still stupid to me people complain at prices over stuff like that. Hopefully there are some black with prints left when I leave work. Edit: Broke down and used paypal here at work, now I'll probably go home to find my shit comprimised.

Try decoding to wav's first, then convert to another lossless. If they can't be decoded to wav's, someone sucks at encoding flac files.
