  1. Anyone knows something more about the rumor, that this boxset was pushed back due to after printing and stuff, they considered that one of the covers was to offensive (apparently a police officer getting a blowjob) and they had to recall it and repack them?
  2. Lately I see more and more records labels press picture disc, instead of normal records. This seems odd to me. I can't get over the fact that: - picture discs often sound shitty. - picture discs most of the time lack a real cover and a lyric sheet. - picture discs are often more expensive then regular records. - I am not going to hang a record on the wall, I want to play it, so when the are in a stack, I cant find the record that I am looking for, since they lack a spine. How do you feel about picture discs?
  3. pretty sure its worldwide shipping no euro label From the MTS blog: Note: Imported from Belgium by Mightier Than Sword Records
  4. Does anyone know what European label will release this?
  5. "No Bad Religion song collection can make your life complete!"
  6. Haha, last saturday I finally after 12 years looking for that damn record, found a copy of Into The Unknown. Still I am totally siked for the represses and the upcoming boxset, for sure I will pick it up!
  7. This is the guy from the Netherlands that you are talking about, also the author of the Out Of Step since 81 blog. I will get back to your email later Chris, I need to have some time to write a decent reply, since you really stired up some good ideas. About the Salad Days pressings, I found four different versions at this moment, I will post about it within a week or three on my blog: http://outofstepsince81.wordpress.com The easiest way to tell if you have an earlier press, if on the back of the sleeve, their is a cut out to easily remove the vinyl from the sleeve. But more info later. I never heard about the OOS or FT7OA12 with a $10 mark before. I would love to see some high resolution pictures of it. This is an old picture, I posted a while ago on this same board:
  8. done... What is that 7" on the fourth row on the right with that pink background?
  9. I just bought the Bruce Springsteen 10", Soundgarden 7" and an Editors 7". Couldn't find a Fucked Up 7" anywhere.
  10. 7": 1639 10": 22 12": 714 I think I have around 140 (demo)tapes and probably around a 800 cd's. I used to have way more cd's but I think I sold/gave away around 50%. Started out buying records in 1997, cd's in 1990.
  11. First of all, thanks for all the positive feedback, it is a fun collection to work on, since the pressing info if even availible is totally not complete, so you discover a lot of different stuff all the time. Second ofcourse the band totally rules. If someone has more information, please leave a comment on my weblog. It has detailed pictures and discription of the more rare live records, cassettes and tapes. Since the more commen vinyl is better documented, I decided to do that later. http://outofstepsince81.wordpress.com do you have some doubles of out of step? it looks like you have an extra 1st/2nd press in the front there, as well as possibly 2 with a red stripe. Yes an extra 2nd press, since one copy came with a pre-order certificate, I really wanted that one also and indeed a 2nd red stripe, that one was cheap and looked a bit cleaner, so that is why I bought it. Also pictured another 12XU live LP, since my first one warped badly and almost nearly broken, that I couldn't play it.
  12. http://outofstepsince81.wordpress.com/2009/12/05/did-you-fucking-get-it/ On my blog you find more information of most of the records pictured here: http://outofstepsince81.wordpress.com
  13. I took this sloppy picture of all my Minor Threat records, still missing a lot, if you have something, let me know!
  14. Question: Did Insted - What We Believe LP also came with old and new labels?
  15. This might be a bit pre-maturely, but any info on the pressing info?
  16. I collect Crucial Response and his predecessor Anti-Schelski records. This is a European hardcore punk label that started out in 1987 and still is going strong. They have currently 79 releases, with all different pressings and stuff it are now around 300 records. I am also trying to get the test presses. I have been trying to complete this for over six years now, but it gets harder every time, but I am getting pretty close. For a bunch of old pictures from a year and half ago: http://www.thecollectionspace.com/collections/search/tag/crucial%20response
  17. I recently got a good deal on the dutch version of Craigslist. But both records came wrapped in a few A4 letter size sheet as packaging. Needless to say, I wasn't to thrilled about it but luckily both records werent damaged that much.
  18. Yes they are, most of them from the late eighties if I remember correctly. But somehow tome of them are harder to find then first pressings. I tried to collect them for a while but I gave up on it. Very nice collection tough!
  19. It is a pre-order certificate, which states who pre-orderd Out Of Step and how long he/she needed to wait before it was shipped. It has a nice gold seal and it is signed by Jeff and Ian. By far the coolest MT item I have. More info on my blog: outofstepsince81.wordpress.com
  20. Too keep on going with the Minor Threat trend, this very old picture: Two years laters my collection has doubled.
  21. The show actually was in the Netherlands and it was probably one of the hardest reunion shows I have ever seen, plus I had the chance to see Panic pratice a few times prior to the show. I think I used to have 5 copies of that 7", around 400 got sold that same day, the rest went back to Reflections Records, so you might consider shooting them an email, they might have a few left. There are a bunch of records I love to own but if I have too choose, I would go for a Minor Threat 7" with a red sleeve. I prefer the red sleeve over the way more rare clear or white sleeves, just because it looks so iconic.
