I would love to see a clear or “natural” vinyl color version of this. Would grab a second copy right away!

I get it. I will probably buy the Wretched, Filthy, Ugly LP too, if it is NOT $60. 🤑 -
Fenway Park 7/7/06 and 7/8/06 Red Vinyl Box Set and Hampton Coliseum 12/31/96 Blue Vinyl Box Set Free shipping for Cyber Monday and I think they included the CD version of Hampton for free, which was nice. 😊 Also, Live Trax Vol. 35: 6.20.09 - Post-Gazette Pavilion, Burgettstown, PA on 180 Gram black vinyl up there if you missed the botched RSD version from earlier this year.

Yeah, guy sounds like a prick. I found out about that orange repress of SSANR like an hour after they went on sale over a year ago, and they were long gone, but reasonably priced. It costs almost the same to press 1000 copies as it is to press 200. The whole manufactured scarcity thing by underpressing is getting old. And now he is trying to sell a $60 album of “leftovers” to try and cash in on it. No. 😄 -

Weird. I played around with my carts as I bought two of the signed CDs WITH shipping, but afterward found out about the Christmas record. Almost put in a cassette and another signed CD just to take advantage of the “free shipping” deal, but then came to my senses and just bought what I wanted and payed the shipping. Went though without a hitch. 🤷🏼♂️ -

I had no idea about this. Thank you for posting. While I usually hate picture discs, I love collecting Christmas records. Why did I buy this? 😄 -
[HELP] Has anyone ever had the PVC sleeve replaced?
Plarocks replied to wuhanclan's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Toss the PVC sleeve and use a polyethylene bag. https://www.bagsunlimited.com/product/4186/12-record-jacket-sleeve-font-colorredno-flapfontbr12-34-x-12-34-x-b3-mil-bpolyethylene Over time, the PVC sleeve outgasses, and will destroy the surface of your record. -

I saw a copy, late, at both Protean records in Baltimore and Trax on Wax in Catonsville yesterday. Might be worth it to give them a call later on this morning. -

$38, but my shop had it for $35! 👍🏻 -
I fell into that trap where I thought “I can’t afford a record cleaning machine,” while I was collecting, accumulating and listening to LPs for a few years when I started. Here’s the secret. Playing an “uncleaned” record with all the grit and dirt in the grooves is like playing your records with sandpaper. You are wearing out your record AND stylus prematurely. I read this in Goldmine back in the day, and now agree with it. If you are “serious” about your vinyl collection, sell off one quarter of your collection so you can buy one of these RCM machines to preserve the other 3/4 of it. Even NEW LPs have a mold release compound in the grooves to keep it from sticking to the stamper. One of these vacuum machines is the only way to safely remove it, as well as the dirt and grime on your used and thrift shop LPs. Happy listening!

I actually use those in place of those horrid PVC sleeves that come with some premium titles. Simply Vinyl, Stereolab reissues, etc. My favorite ones are the BU 4mil 13in x 13in sleeves, and the 4mil 12 3/4 version, I mentioned earlier. I bought about 200 of the former, but when I went to buy some more, BU said they were discontinued, and I could not buy anymore unless I made a custom order for 5000. I could go for 1000. 2000 would probably be a “lifetime” supply of them with 1000 of the 12 3/4’s. But 5000, for me, of just the 13 by 13s would be overkill. However, if there are some other collectors who liked them, and would like to build toward a 5000 piece order, please PM me. In the meantime, I will try and scrape together $300 for 1000 of the 4mil 12 3/4 sleeves, before I assume they will be gone. For me, they are my favorite sleeve, and the most bang for the buck!
