  1. Bullmoose (listed as $53) https://www.bullmoose.com/c/431/rsd-2020-titles?&so=1&page=4
  2. US list is up https://recordstoreday.com/SpecialReleases https://s3.amazonaws.com/recordstoreday/2020/2020_RSD_PUBLIC.pdf Defs grabbing Replacements and Charli, interested in Slint, clipping, and Robyn.
  3. Hope we get Vroom Vroom stateside as well. Curious what that Slint 12" is...
  4. Wouldn't be surprised if Microbe is included. That doesn't merit a full 3-LP reissue so it could fit somewhere.
  5. +1 Got some Bovine Records stuff there. Great place.
  6. Still waiting for shipment notification. Got the obi versions btw. Edit: got my shipping notice!
  7. According to IG, it's a one-time pressing. 6 left at Merchtable.
  8. It's up! https://profoundlorerecords.merchtable.com/music/leviathan-verrater-4xlp
  9. It's a double edged sword when there are two choices: either support the not very good incumbent that Amazon also doesn't like policy-wise or the alternate/opposition. It is annoying that Orion decided to address his Amazon funding right at the end of the race.
  10. If you don't care for the obi you can still get them at bleep
  11. Akuma No Uta sounds fine since it's a lo-fi recording. Some crackles here and there but generally better compared to the SL picture disc. Feedbacker on the other hand sounds like it was cut on the hot side compared to the Conspiracy pressing. I could hear way more distortion during Part II which is a bummer. The locked grooves are a nice touch though.
  12. Happy 20th! https://www.polyvinylrecords.com/product/year_one_demos https://shop.americanfootballmusic.com/product/year-one-demos-12 Tracklist: 1. Five Silent Miles (Demo) 2. Song #1 / Song #2 (Demo) 3. The Summer Ends (Demo) 4. For Sure (Demo) Clear vinyl. One time pressing, limited to 2000. Liner notes by Steve Holmes and Steve Lamos. Earliest recordings of the band. As American Football’s seminal eponymous debut album turns 20 this year, the band and its label, Polyvinyl Record Co., are celebrating the occasion with a collection of newly mastered and previously unreleased instrumental demos. Year One Demos documents the first proper demos ever recorded by the band and features versions of tracks that would later appear on their debut album and ep. “American Football was never intended to be a real band.” guitarist Steve Holmes writes in the liner notes for Year One Demos. “The band was our creative outlet, and gave us something to do outside of schoolwork.” The recordings found on Year One Demos are a glimpse back at that inauspicious time. According to Holmes, these tracks were “recorded in May of 1997, right after the end of the school year, in the basement of Steve’s childhood home. We’d been a band for all of four months, and these four songs probably represented the best of what we’d written up to that point. Steve Lamos recently unearthed the 1/2 inch master tape (otherwise we would have used these songs for the LP1 Deluxe Reissue). The songs were “engineered” by Steve’s dad by setting up two vocal mics at 90 degree angles, setting the levels, and hitting record.” Year One Demos is a fascinating snapshot into American Football’s ongoing story as one of the most influential bands in indie rock.
  13. Yeah I saw those from the mock-up when they were announced and it did not look fun to have to read through them. My obi-versions should arrive next week but I'll be away for work-related travels so I won't be able to listen to them for at least another week. Plus, looks like I'll have to travel again for the same week they're playing Seattle next month. Oh well. At least I saw them in Chicago for Pitchfork so I'll take that as a consolation prize.
  14. I can't read Dutch but this definitely doesn't look like a Black Friday list. It's one of those HMV/Barnes and Noble "vinyl appreciation" releases.
  15. I missed out on getting tickets for the Seattle show but at least I'll be able to see them at Pitchfork next week. And that aftershow is an added cherry on the top.
  16. That's interesting, IIRC from the first batch was that the US orders arrived a week late and some orders didn't get the obi, but Duophonic were able to make replacement obis just for those orders. Hopefully they can get that sorted out for this batch.
