  1. Yeah, it's listed under RSD as an indie exclusive (/700). That and the Burn 7" are a reason to even bother with RSD...
  2. The album is really good. More stripped down and rootsy (to fit with the game) than previous records. It's worth picking up when available.
  3. Not that i have seen for the new Total Abuse LP, which is atypical. Deranged usually does a color variant for most releases. If the numbers are listed its around 100 or less. They do still have the clear pressing (/100) of the Looking for Love 7". http://www.derangedrecords.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=718
  4. If you don't mind waiting a week or two Gordon will ship records from the States for much cheaper (media mail: 5 records or less for $6). Plus, if you're into the colors, you have to get them directly from the label. Which is probably why there is fair amount of limited records still in stock, e.g., total abuse 7", Give, Criminal Code, Pleasure Leftists, Pressing on, etc.
  5. JÄVLA's 7" just went up. Another great DC band. this is a little more D-beat than most DCHC, but it's good. https://javlapunk.bandcamp.com/album/7
  6. someone should get on this. They're playing a show on valentine's day. How are they live? Is it worth the possible grief i might catch?
  7. PM me for a DL code of Youth Brigade's 1st (1981) Demo. FYI - You'll need a dischord account. edit: gone.
  8. Record arrived yesterday. This rules and so did the LP. There will also be a new Dag Nasty (with Shawn) 7" in the near future.
  9. Went to a Walking Dead event with Andy Lincoln, Scott Gimpel and Greg Nicotero hosted by the Smithsonian. 1st question asked: why does the WD hate black people? Apparently, Mr. Lincoln never watches himself so everytime they showed a clip he turned away from the big screen and put his fingers in his ears. They showed a 4 min clip of the forthcoming episode. looks good. and they had mad props.
  10. Don't own a suit, nor a jacket. My mother in law is getting married and i have been told i am an usher and need a suit or at least a jacket. It's next moth so i should get on that. My buddy recommend getting sized and then picking one up on eBay.
  11. Long overdue. Greyhouse were awesome. They killed it live. What's the word with the grey version? just going to put this here.
  12. I really dug Y & Ex Machina, that why i picked up Saga. I have not read Private Eye or Papergirls, but will check them out.
  13. Haven't read any comics in years, but on a whim i picked up Cry Havoc and Old Man Logan #1 and the 1st trade of Saga. Pretty good. I may have to keep up with them. Since people were talking star wars, thoughts on the new comics books? worth reading?
  14. I would snag another, but It's one per order. Somebody pick this man up a tape.
  15. If you missed out on the earlier presses, the third and final press of the G.L.O.S.S. demo tape is up. get on it. http://notnormaltapes.storenvy.com/products/12244479-g-l-o-s-s-girls-living-outside-societys-shit-tape
  16. Years ago Plan B came to a local shop for a demo. It was raining and really crappy outside. The who team stayed in their van, except for Rodney Mullen. He skated in the rain, blew everyone's minds and hung out with everyone. solid dude.
  17. Dag Nasty is playing the Black Cat in DC on 21 April 2016. Tickets are now on sale at the door or via Ticketfly. http://www.blackcatdc.com/shows/dag-nasty.html
  18. There is a good chance we'll lose power. So maybe not much. Otherwise, the new savages LP just arrived so hopefully ill be blasting that.
  19. Saw them in NYC a while ago. They were great. Well worth having to sit through all the crappy DMS bands opening.
  20. By far it's the 1st 7" - 4 songs of unabridged awesomeness, every kid should own one. Before they broke in up in '92 they recorded another 7" (last great sea) that wasn't released until the early 2000s. It's not as good as the 1st 7" but still decent. They got back together in like 2001 or so and put out a 12" ep (Cleanse), which is alright. The did record some older songs, which are good enough plus some newer ones. Not sure what they will play in their live set. There were several old songs they never recorded. Plus, i hear they are writing new songs.... Nevertheless, it should be an awesome set with people going nuts.
  21. Give and all the DC bands rule. Fury and Free are good as well. However, the big draw is Burn. Not sure why they aren't at the top of the bill.
  22. What's the Mystery Club, 'Good Ol' Days' 7"? I was seriously waffling between the MDB and Protomartyr lathes. I ended up going with Protomartyr, but think i may have chosen poorly.
  23. Anyone going? Canal Club, Richmond, VA -- 25-26 March 2016 Two-day pass $70 (ouch.) Burn! Give, Protester, Red Death, Ice, Free, Floorpunch, Forced Order.... http://www.thecanalclub.com/event/1057671-united-blood-10-x-festival-richmond
