i have a friend who works at lucasfilm. if you wind up going back, i could see if he'd give you a tour! he took me to skywalker ranch when i was there and it ruled. That is so cool! Lucasfilm is like one of the coolest places to work.

i don't even really remember my prom, and i don't even drink, haha. i think it's sweet! now, if he had spray painted the building, or ruined the football field by spelling things out with plastic forks in the ground then i could see where that would be grounds for missing prom. but this didn't hurt anybody or anything and was really just a cute gesture. I just remember it being really boring and leaving super early. They gave us beer mugs and champagne glasses as gifts ha ha. Yet they go out of their way to make sure we weren't drinking/drunk. They even stop you at the door and ask you a few questions in front of a video camera. It does suck that he got in trouble. I can see why they punished him but suspension was enough. He should be able to go to the prom.

No problem! I'm in Williamsburg, which is about a 45 min. drive from the beach. But I catch all the shows there and Norfolk. Va. Beach has a huge hardcore scene nowadays but it's that beatdown stuff...I think. I'm always confused about the variety of hardcore these days. But basically it's a bunch of huge dudes that get into a fight every show. Is that beatdown? The Jewish Mother backstage is right behind The Norva. Like I mentioned before they have good food! And there's also a mall right across the street if you are into that kind of stuff. Norfolk is a cool place....I actually like it better than Va. Beach.

What is up with these teenage boys building giant letters to ask girls to prom? My boyfriends sister was asked in a similar way. He put giant foam letters made with pvc pipes in the pond behind her house. Personally I think it's a waste of time and also prom is really boring.

What kind of music are you into? The new Jewish Mother location just opened back up in Va. Beach. They also have a location in Norfolk that does shows. Does anyone know if this is only going to be on black vinyl? Pre-ordering black vinyl just seems wrong.

Half.com I use to sell CDs/DVDs on that site. I've had great experiences with that site. I've also sold old school books on there too and made good cash. It's set up through ebay so you can use your ebay account...but it's not auctions. Something that I found useful is to mark your price a little lower than what everyone else is selling theirs for. If you mark it like a few cents cheaper people will buy it and it will be available to view at the top of the page.

Suppose to get mine out this summer. Not excited about it. I saw someone go through a really terrible time afterwards. Like I walked into her house after surgery and there was blood everywhere...I thought someone came in the house and murdered her. It scared the crap out of me now I'm terrified to get mine out. But then I know a couple people who had no problems at all after.

Yeah, just talk to him about it. If he's not into the band or where you are going maybe you can find a replacement drummer. I think every band goes through stuff like this.
