been scrobbling since college, and I graduated 11 years ago....i still check my own page from time from time one of the things that annoys me the most is how they have separate artists pages (and therefore scrobbling statistics) for suede/london suede, and arcade fire/the arcade fire.

arguably the favorite BH album for many, i actually haven't picked up bloom yet but i guess i'll jump on this one. (added: if i'm lucky)

was at the Beacon theater show last night. not in kansas sounds great indeed. my takeaway from the new album is, like the band said, lots of female singing & strings. not sure if the songs were arranged the same way as the actual album, but i can't wait til it drops. does anyone know anything about the after-show party last night? what's the about and how did one get a pass for that? is that a cherry tree thing?

wow good for u. i got a copy from my local store saturday but i almost didnt because i thought with 8000 i still could have gotten it online the next day. im quite surprised by the number of people struggling to get a copy given the not-small quantity. this is a great soundtrack and i love the movie (cover is a plus obviously) , but the jackets print quality isn't best, u get nothing else besides from the record, no printed sleeve/download. also many people complain about their copies being warped. i would really think twice about paying more than $30 for it.

just curious what everyone’s wait times were today? i got in line at 10 in the morning and paid at noon (nyc)

only bought one this year - lost in translation OST. had to wait two hours for it but very pleased to have gotten it.

this definitely casts more doubts over the band's future along with everything that's been going on with orri and all the side projects that jonsi's been working on. already been 6 years and counting since the last SR album and it's hard to see one on the horizon now.

completely understand your point there. i just happen to be one who lacks self control but thankfully there aren't many bands that can make me splurge on a $100+ boxset. my only criticism of this boxset is the total lack of video content.

ordered and didnt bat an eyelid. love this band and this album too much, and been waiting for this for too long. their live tracks are great. but would have been nice if they could throw in a dvd for the live show. also wish they would have included the tracks off Ny Batteri single

paul/mansun's social channels just posted a short clip showing the various variants. looks like the colored variants are translucent. look very nice but i think with the green i would prefer the opaque. i'm so excited this is finally in my hands in a week or so.
