today i picked up a copy of the olafur arnalds new album which i ordered online from my local store. as they do with online orders, they placed a large sticker with my name and email address and order # etc etc over the sleeve. while it’s normally not an issue with polysleeves which i almost never keep, this album comes with a printed pvc sleeve. and as i tried removing it, not only did the sticker not come off completely (admittedly i did a terrible job myself but it wasn’t easy), part of the artwork also got peeled off with the sticker. do i have a case to take it to the record store for an exchange or contact the label for a replacement? this is how it's supposed to look:

i ordered my from target too but i’m going to pick up from the store. my first taylor swift record and also my first record bought from target

glad I jumped in quickly, but I'm actually surprised how quickly they sold out. i remember high violet's white/purple split sold out quickly too but don't remember it sold out within a few hours and that is one of their most popular albums. I'm not sure there'll be other non CT variants - I think they would have been announced by now, and to announce new variants later won't please those who missed out CT and went with the black. I do see a possibility of a second CT variant (like HV's clear/purple split), or additional copies being available later.

it’s beautiful packaged indeed, and the photobook is of very high quality. not to mention the signed jacket came in a ssecond jacket so i was able to put the thickish booklet in one and the records in the other. it was a bit of a challenge to fit 2 LPs and the booklet in one jacket and fit them all in the plastic casing so i’m glad there are two jackets.

went with the purple on TRL. the signed print is nice but shipping from the UK to the US makes it a bit expensive (35pounds shipped). the purple also goes better with the artwork than the yellow does. the box is nice too, it's just that 4 demos and a photobook and a CD does not justify an additional $30 for me.

have no clue when i’ll see her lol especially given what’s going on lol. it sounds pretty inexpensive to ship to UK and belgium etc as well
