Looks like it's exclusive to them . They had a 20% off sale for St Paddy's day, picked it up then. Also looks like there's about 300 left.

There's a difference between overplaying something during a period of time and being able to revisit it and still enjoy it. I gave it multiple chances during it's release, enjoyed it to some extent but have no desire to ever listen to it again. There are plenty of albums I've burnt myself out on at some point but would gladly put on months or years later. This is not one of them.

I just find it to be forgettable. There are some things to like about it but ultimately I never have a desire to listen to it ever again. I did enjoy it to some extent when it came out but repeated listens have left me with much to be desired. I get why people enjoy it though and not every ROTM is going to make everyone happy.

Most months they at least try to make it interesting. A long out of press classic here, a remastered and reissued under the radar indie there, not to mention some crazy stuff completely out of left field on occasion. AM, to me, epitomizes everything wrong and boring with “indie” music of the last two decades. Should’ve been left to the dustbin of music history. Maybe it’s a harsh and unpopular opinion but it’s just not for me. I know they’re catering to a specific crowd and this ticks all the boxes but I just find it to be a very plain pick. Plus it’s easily available, slapping a new color on it doesn’t make it a required album to own. To each their own though. One of the things I like most about this forum is people don’t tend to shit on artists they don’t care for. I just think it could be a more interesting pick.

Incredibly uninspired pick in my opinion. Really disappointed this month.

They've stated multiple times in the VMP forums that they are getting more Devotion so I wouldn't worry. They'll appear at some point.

I tend to forget about them because there's not much output but I also agree with this. Those two albums are so goddamn good. I guess I'm just not a big Rocket fan, love everything else though.

Finally got a chance to spin this and I love it. Classic Hot Snakes and it's really brutal.

MSG might be a bad example but many promoters require acts to play some of their less desirable venues if they want to play the bigger ones.

Apparently he plans to reopen zuzu’s somewhere else (rent was too high) and keep an online presence. I think wrestling is what really sunk him. Plus it looks like this reunion tour is going to make money. High ticket prices have not deterred most markets, some however are woefully undersold but that’s the game you play when you do big arena tours, if you want to play MSG you have to play Glendale as well. Billy mentioned machina reissues a couple weeks ago, doesn’t look like it’s happening anytime soon. And zwan will likely never happen so better to be on the lookout for a random deal now and then.

I don’t know about the sexual allegations but I do remember that they “broke up” on stage and that guy is gone. But they just recently toured and now they have another totally new lineup. Either way he seems very wishy washy. I still very much enjoy a majority of their output but I’ll probably be passing on this release as well.

It's not bad necessarily it just sounded like b-sides from the previous one. I think they're great, just maybe could slow down the output, quality over quantity and all that.

I think he's finally learned to slow down a bit. My opinion of them took a dive with that last album but seeing them a few months ago reinvigorated me. They really impressed. Now they have ANOTHER new line-up so he must be a pain to work with. I like these songs enough to get them in this format though.

I sort of understand trying to forego the "membership process" but you can cancel immediately after receiving your record (and possibly pick up some exlcusives while you're at it if something interests you). It's more of a hassle to have someone on here send them yours when they can probably swap it out for something else they might want. Either way, you may even want to wait to see copies appear on discogs, I have a feeling there will be plenty of these floating around.

I don’t know why I waited. I liked everything I heard. Still standard reds available on her website but I love the marble. I’ll give it a couple weeks and see if they pop up somewhere.
