swazzyswess reacted to ethereal in King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard- Nonagon Infinity- 4/29
none of the pressings sound that great, they are all very flat. they did a poor job at mastering the audio for vinyl transfer

.... bwahahah. After that aberration that was the GBV reissue, Newbury has restored order to the universe.

Wh--what's this? Could it be? An actual long OOP reissue from Newbury, for a somewhat reasonable price? It must be a Christmas miracle.
Guided by Voices "Mag Earwhig" on green/orange vinyl. First vinyl pressing since the original in 1997.

Finally got the Deltron 3030 green/gold repress that was released this August....
Wow, talk about some chintzy packaging. Double LP crammed into a standard 1XLP sleeve, lowest quality record sleeves possible, no inserts whatsoever, no download card.

Seriously. This is taking the "I'll give up some sound quality for a weird colored LP" to an extreme. King Gizz are pushing all vinyl purchasing boundaries with this album!

How do you check out on ATO? Seriously... I have done 3 different browsers and my phone... this is silly

Not much more than the rest of their variants that cause fans to buy like 4 different versions....
That said, it's been fun seeing who is putting out what, with plenty of crazy stuff still to come, I'm sure.

My copy of Mule Variations sounds great, don't see the need for a remaster.
I'm curious what they've done with Real Gone. It's a rough sounding record, intentionally obviously, but I also think it sounds great. Ribot's guitar on some of those tracks has an incredible in-the-room-with-you tone.

You don't want to hear Northlane's (?) timely cover of Anthem for the Year 2000?

Glad you dig it, and that other people here like Thought Industry! They're one of those bands where I feel like... bad for them, that they never got the attention they deserve.

Half agree, strangely... about half of TTD does *nothing* for me, but the other half I love. SadioWitch and Funeral of Your Mind in particular are two of my favorite EW tracks.

I recognize that order number.... hey dude from r/vinylreleases 13960 here.
Slaughterhouse is what got me into Ty and was the first LP I bought after about a five-year break. This became my most wanted release of the year, just because of the bonus track, remastering and 12" format.... but scoring a colored version would rule.
