Jim Steele reacted to tape in PO: Converge - Beautiful Ruin EP
I didn't take it personally, and I knew it was a joke. why do I bother typing things on the internet

A Kickstarter would be less tacky. Holding onto 200 records to sell at an inflated price is lame.

Jim Steele reacted to gazedandconfused in [PO] Nothing - Dance On the Blacktop
Apologies for posting in the wrong thread. Honest mistake. I hardly ever use this site and thought I was in the proper thread. Oh well. To add to the thoughts of me....I don't have but one discography collection and that one is Nothing. I do not have loads of money, I have a good job and budget myself accordingly. I really didn't mean to upset so many people for posting in the wrong thread.

Can confirm.
10k pressing of the green.
2.5k went to stores.
1.5k went to various upholsterers in Belgium.
1k to Outpost 31 in Antarctica.
1k to Nick Alt.
1k to the band, but they got high and lost them.
1k hidden inside used Bay City Rollers albums
750 sent on a weather balloon into space
500 to Piggly Wiggly locations in West Virginia
500 were incinerated immediately to forge a new throne for Jack
The remaining 250 were pressed without a B side, So Jack will put those up as rare for $420 next week.
Hope this helps.

Jim Steele reacted to Reshiram in Most Ridicuous Thing You Saw on RSD?
Craziest thing I saw was someone buying the Stone Sour release, I didn't know they had fans.

Jim Steele reacted to Shitty Rambo in Most Ridicuous Thing You Saw on RSD?
Crazy thing I experienced is that I spent $65 on 2 records and feel like I got a "deal".

Jim Steele reacted to lexicondevil in DEAFHEAVEN - Ordinary Corrupt Human Love
Not sure why it's a "shitty observation" to you. If you took the time to read my post, I wasn't putting them down. I also didn't know they played Coachella. Basically, I think they are going for a more accessible sound to draw in more listeners. They've been on that path ever since Sunbather, so it's not a surprise to anyone paying attention. I also said I like the song. Reading comprehension should taught more in schools.

Jim Steele reacted to cjtoon in PO Literally Anywhere - King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - Polygondwanaland
Hi All,
Chris from Hot Wax, just wanted to drop a quick update here for you guys.
I've dispatched all UK orders for just Milk and Honey, this was mainly just to be productive whilst waiting on the boxes with the added bonus of getting some out very early.
I have spent what feels like an eternity assembling the boxes and bagging the LP & Extras in two seperate resealable poly bags, this was an additional step I added but I think its going to be worthwhile. All of the LP's came from the plant in the sleeves too so I wanted to take them out and secure them in a poly behind the sleeve to ensure safe transport to everyone.
I hand numbered and re packaged them all over the weekend so I can get them to the distributer this week and from there all remaining orders will be heading out - All of the remaining Milk & Honey orders will also be going to the distributer and I fully expect all will be shipped by the end of the month - In line with the initil estimate.
You will all get a notification via your chosen method email/text when your order is dispatched, thanks for all the patience I can't wait to see these puppies landing worldwide.
:-)

Thanks for the offer, but I can wait a little longer. I’m sure it’ll turn up soon

Jim Steele reacted to monsterrod in PO: ILSA - Corpse Fortress
This album absolutely fucking slays. I'm glad I grabbed this. I'm going to have to revisit their catalog after having written off their previous releases.

Jim Steele got a reaction from Group Buy Guy in PO: Windhand/Satan's Satyrs Split LP via Relapse out 2/16/18
Would probably have ordered a copy if this had been put up at the same time as the Mammoth Grinder and/or Genocide Pact preorder. But Relapse won't let me add items to an existing order, and I'm not going to pay €11 shipping costs again, especially not for a single LP

Jim Steele got a reaction from Mourning Wood in PO now: Mammoth Grinder | Cosmic Crypt
Ordered both, but feel the opposite. Digging that first Genocide Pact track, but am not that into the Mammoth Grinder song yet. Fantastic artwork for both records though

Jim Steele got a reaction from OtherVagOption in PO Literally Anywhere - King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard - Polygondwanaland
This one looks nice! But shipping to Europe costs as much as the record itself, so I'm gonna let it go..
