My quick story about Ted Leo: I saw him back in 2002(?) with Piebald, Koufax and The Scaries at Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, NC. He scared me. I never saw another show with him again. The end.

Yeah, all funds are going directly to his staff, who all had to move to LA from NYC, for a mere 7-month stint. I'm totally down for that idea if that's where the money's going.

Right now, it's sound clips from the Mega Man 2 soundtrack. I use this program called BitPim to make my own ringtones and shit, and it's really handy for making backgrounds too or whatever else you like. Simple application. The only thing that's cumbersome is the mp3 editor for ringtones, it takes a while for things to adjust levels.

OH GOD not Demerol. I was given an injection once after having vertigo, and I had the craziest hallucinations while on the phone with someone. I definitely remember saying "here comes the meat wagon!" while seeing an ice cream truck that sells meat in my mind. Said that over the phone. Dude thought I was nuts.

Haha, I know Pat the Bunny/Johnny Hobo. He's in jail right now. I've tried on and off for years, but I can't get down with the whiskey. It just leaves that whiskey taste on my breath for ages afterwards, and I don't get that with gin!

Good call on the Aleve from earlier. I was given Tylenol #3, and it did nothing. None of my teeth were impacted, but there wasn't enough room in my mouth for all four wisdom teeth. In all honesty, I wasn't that hungry after the procedure, probably from the dull pain, but I ate not much but mashed potatoes (the kind in a box since they're easiest to make super creamy in consistency). A reliable ride home is good as well, because you won't want to be doing much of anything at all about 30 minutes after you leave the office (when anesthesia wears off). Note: do not use a straw! Any sucking motion you may make could cause dry sockets. This caused a major bummer to me back in high school when I used to play french horn.

This is about it: a post-WWII trumpet made by Hüttl. Says "Made in Western Germany" on the imprint above the bell. Otherwise, I'm about to pick up a P-Jazz bass from my friend. I have a Traynor 9x8 cab and a non-working Traynor bass head. Also, a very shitty reissue Beatle Bass that's falling apart. Such poor quality.

Insured through work. Though, I have the cheapest plan available, so that leaves me with a $700 deductible to fulfill this year. At least it went down from $1,000! The only really bad thing is that I've now recently hit some health trouble, so I'm sure I'll be seeing that money disappear from my bank account with a quickness.
