  1. Just like cside said above me Canadian post can take ages. I had some packages where I waited for about 2 months. I was actually pleasantly surprised that the AOF record showed up relatively "quick". I'd just wait some more in your case. You can also always contact Dine Alone. Maybe they have some sort of tracking/customs number.
  2. I'm not a cassette guy but this cover looks awesome. Reminds me a lot of the opening scene of The Secret of Monkey Island.
  3. I received the AOF record today in Germany. While the wait was absurdly long I have to say I'm really amazed by how this turned out. The weight, quality, detail, bonus items... it's all just great! The only downside: none of my protective sleeves are big enough for this beast, haha. I'm also selling the moneen records (LP and 7"). I'm looking to just get back a fair cut of the original bundle cost. Anybody interested?
  4. I got it sometime last month and can say that the quality definitely is there. The records sound very clean, the packaging is very well made (sturdy printed inner sleeves). Overall it's very much worth the price I paid (a bit under 30€). Have you tried looking at Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.de? Sometimes the records are actually cheaper that way including shipping than if you'd "import" them through your local amazon.
  5. As the title says I'm looking for the LP "Nothing Exists But Atoms And The Void" by Spaces. Can anybody help me out with this one?
  6. Now, I have no idea how big the demand is or how well it would be received by the collectors but what I'm really missing among the old video game soundtracks which are being pressed are: any of the old early-90s LucasArts games! I'm thinking something along the lines of Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, the Dig, etc...
  7. it's awesome that they packaged the inner sleeves inbetween the gatefold instead of inside the "pockets", by the way - no seam splits on the cover even if the record gets shipped around half of the world.
  8. If a tour press is happening I'd also love to get in line for one copy sent to Germany
  9. Just like Sasan... I'll also be glad to help out anybody who needs help ordering the record worldwide. At cost.
  10. what does the tracking information say? i think i used the cheapest shipping option ($20 or so) and they gave me the usual USPS tracking number. it even got updated up to the customs office.
  11. That is pretty much true. Yesterday I was asked if this record I ordered contained something or not. Sure, ordering blank records is definitely a thing since we all love a bit of silence every now and then.
  12. For the customs notification? I got my letter today. Yay, senseless expenses!
  13. So I just got a shipping notification. That was surprisingly early.
  14. Thanks! I just sent you a pm with details on the crash I've encountered. I originally thought of automatic crash reports that can be sent from the app directly to you including details on the error and the device specs. I'm sure the app creates some sort of log files?
  15. thanks for the continuous updates. i've been using the app to update my collection recently and it's been a great help. three more suggestions: 1) when searching for a release it would be helpful to have a "C" displayed next to the master release if the record is in one's collection already (just as it is the case when browsing the master releases of an artist outside of the search function) 2) can you make adding two copies of one release into the collection possible? that use case probably doesn't happen that often but i had to jump over to the website twice because i had two copies of one release. 3) would bug/crash reports be helpful for you? i've had the app crash on me a few times. i'm not sure why, though. the app just froze (the notification bar was still active)... it looked a little like there was not enough memory to process.
  16. while youre at it also check out the latest "playing the orchestra" (as you can guess orchestrated versions of the tunes), "out of noise" (regular album, a slight bit on his experimental side) and "bttb" (regular album, piano-heavy). but now enough of hijacking the mondo thread... sakamoto deserves an own thread
  17. i was also a little surprised and bummed. the colored one is pretty expensive here in germany. the discogs listing (there seems to be only one so far) has a picture of the black one https://www.discogs.com/Ryuichi-Sakamoto-Alva-Noto-Bryce-Dessner-The-Revenant-Original-Motion-Picture-Soundtrack/release/8086545
  18. I've been trying out the app for a couple of days now and just removed the ads - you've done some great work! Very intuitive and easy to use. One quick suggestion: it would be great if one could select more than one message to mark them as read, delete them, etc.
  19. there was the usual customs number or however it is called. that would make it possible to track it through USPS at least until the border of the US if i recall correctly.
  20. You could get a EU person to order it for you and forward it. Would come out to somewhere between 60 to 65€ if you do it through Germany, I think.
