I received the Chrono Trigger & Chrono Cross records today. Very, very, very beautiful presentation. I haven't listened to the records yet but the quality of the whole thing makes up for the high price. The gatefold is made out of sturdy, yet slim cardboard. I took a few quick pictures of everything. Only bummer was (as always) SE's packaging. It came in a huge box with some plastic air bags. Thankfully nothing was damaged. I love the note they always put on the receipts (see the last picture) - I wonder if they actually ship any 45€ records out in a jiffy bag. ps: sorry for the picture heavy post...

I emailed them about it. The records are delayed until the beginning of January.

Ugh, can't wait to send mails back and forth with the SE customer service if they use the same packaging for the chrono trigger lps. Had go return FF7 twice back then because the records were bent to hell.

I've asked them about the whole customs stuff and apparently they won't be putting invoices in the mailers. But they still have to write down the value of the item (note: only the value of the item, not including shipping if I got that correctly!) on the customs declaration that's stuck on the package. So, for us Germans adding 19% on top of $75 sounds much nicer than adding 19% on top of $128.

Yep, same here in Germany. At least two shops around me got only black in and didn't even have the colored ones in their system. So beware of ordering from the EU too?

got my EU copy today. looks slightly different from the US version. we get opaque records, a nice reverse cardboard gatefold, printed inner sleeves (that unfortunately are too thin) and a download card. the lighting on the picture is crappy. the yellow is a very strong, deep yellow.

Has there been any word if this is 100% Mondo-exclusive or is there a possibility that it will turn up at other (European? wink wink) distros? I'm afraid the international shipping is absolutely going to kill this

has anybody from europe already received the black copy? i'm still waiting for mine (since more than 7 weeks now). i tried to reach out to DA through email but all @dinealonerecords.com addresses seem to be broken right now (i've talked to Nicole a little more than a week ago but she doesn't have my order marked as "lost" yet). does anybody know what the easiest way to contact DA is? edit: problem on the way of being solved. thank you, Justin!

When you go the usual way to the two beasts, just run past them into direction of the cleric beast. Just a bit after the two beasts there are stairs on the left side that lead to said house where you can "hide" from them. For me there's always a white-ish person standing on top of these stairs. Just run past that one too down the stairs into the house.

do you know if it'll get distributed to european stores also? that would safe quite a bit of shipping

whoa, i just beat the first boss on the very first try. its probably one of the easiest things to do in this game but this still feels so good.
