For some odd reason I don't have a single Samiam album. The songs I've heard by them I've loved, but I just haven't gotten around to getting anything. I decided not to sleep on this and ordered. Hopefully I will not be disappointed.

I don't watch much baseball, but I was watching the Twins game when I was over visiting my grandpa and there was the weirdest out at the end of the game. I'm still running my super sweet iPod circa 2004. 20GB, black and white screen, cutting edge of technology. But I really need to upgrade. Not only does it not have enough room for all of my music, but certain artists or albums it just refuses to play. I don't get it. Oh well, I don't use it as much as I used to anyways. On a side note, I can get a 120GB iPod classic today for the price that I paid for my 20GB iPod six years ago.

Was there a clear green for the first press of the LP? I picked it up when I saw them on tour, and don't know if I have a 1st or 2nd press. If the labels are different, the one they have pictured looks grey while the one I have is more beige or peach (I'm not good with colors).

Yep. And fuck you why don't you get married this weekend so I have a reason to come back. Isn't that on a Rilo Kiley album? Maybe it's on both, I don't know. Also, it looks promising. I actually had a "ugh" moment when it just ended abruptly. I want to see more...tease.

brides go to some fancy schmancy bridal store in ny where they spend the entire time telling their never interesting story to the camera reality show style, and try on endless dresses. most wind up complaining the whole time about a lot of things, mostly about things being out of their budget....then buy them anyways. oh, and there's a lot of overbearing mothers. and a gay dude telling her which one accentuates her features the best. Never interesting? In one of the episodes one of the brides wanted a dress to go with her fairy wings. Then she had a fairy tale wedding in the forest. It was...interesting.

I think the whiskey coke color keeps in line with the 15th anniversary celebration colored vinyl or something like that...

I wouldn't be surprised if it was all those posters they had to sign that's holding this up.

Really solid mail day today! Holy shit! I finally got my VC order from back in April when the store closed. I have to say it was worth the wait. I also got a package from Asian Man Records. I'm not even going to try to list everything. Here's my packages: The inside contents of my VC package. Note there's an LP mailer in the bottom of the biggest box. And this made me lol.

Yeah but then you would just be given to a goodwill and sit there for eternity. No one buys christmas records. My family loves Christmas music. The only records and cassettes my parents kept are Christmas albums; and about 75% of my parent's CDs are Christmas albums. So I imagine I would get plenty of plays come Christmas season each year.

I guess most of those were posted already... and High & Dry went up again. boo.

You'd have to find versions sung by children's choirs.... little kids singing slow songs is always creepier Haha. That is so true.

I would probably want to record some renditions of Christmas songs. Jingle Bells would close out the record. It would be nice and creepy.

I should really hit up some used video game sections and get some more more N64 games/ controllers. I don't remember playing Blast Corps or Body Harvest, but I'll keep an eye out for them. Sam's Club is the weirdest store; they have the craziest bulk packaged goods around. I loved going shopping there with my mom when I was younger.

I got my N64 out to play some good old games. My little cousin was over for my father's b-day party this weekend and he always wants to play with my video games. So as soon as he saw my N64 he's all like "What is that thing!?!? A Gamecube?" No. Not at all. He didn't feel adventurous enough to try it out though. He stuck with my old Tony Hawk games. I've been playing some Jet Force Gemini and San Francisco Rush 2049. Good times.
