Snagged that TL /200. Song is pretty massive. I feel like it’ll hold even more weight in the context of the whole album. With Departure Songs it’s hard to listen to just one song on its own. I feel like this album will be the same way. Encouraged that Derek digs the first song!

So I listened to this album today after seeing Audiotree post about it and it is damn good. Instant upper echelon album of the year for me. Reminds me a bit of Haerts but dreamier.

I think it’s M & G but more evil sounding. So do with that what you will!

Yeah it’s a nice mix of ambient & light/dark post-rock. Great album to zone out to. Just took a quick snooze with it on my lunch break lol.

Digging the hell out of that lineup. Not at all “Dunk-core” haha. Really pumped about O’Brother & Spotlights. And Shy, Low. Plus I just listened to the new Driving Slow Motion (mentioned several times here) & that new album is killer. And duh, Holy Fawn! I’ll be all over this one.

Same experience here. Been one of my favorite bands since I saw them. I dig the new song. Definitely sounds like a bit of a new direction. Will be curious to hear how the whole album plays out.
