  1. A girl I know has one, and I really, really would love it if she sold it to me. It's so awesome.
  2. Bleh.. well it's on FAT's site and interpunk. I know interpunk's shipping sucks, how is FAT's? Does anyone know?
  3. Ah dammit.. it's not somewhere blatantly obvious elsewhere, is it? I've been half-assedly looking around for that LP for a while to no avail and got really excited seeing this thread.
  4. If I can't find Rise Against on the site, does it mean I'm retarded, or that it's sold out already?
  5. I went the general anesthetic route. Surgery went well, but I can't sit too comfortably, so I'm going to cut this short and go back to the couch.
  6. That's just a case of knowing too much. I'm sure people who've worked on planes for 25 years shudder getting on them too. Yea, that makes sense.
  7. Haha to add a bit more, I have my 25-year ER-vet mother shuddering going "well I wouldn't want to be intubated, but it's your choice..."
  8. I'll add what the hernia repair entails to the original post.
  9. Tomorrow I'm going in for my first surgery ever, a hernia repair, and while I'm not too worried about that, I'm not sure what type of anesthetic to get. I have to go early to talk to the anesthesiologist but I'm not sure which way I'd prefer. I'm not the best with needles, but I really don't think I want a tube down my throat... If you had to have surgery, or have had it before, which route would you/have you gone? a) Fully sedated and intubated Local anesthetic with needles and (I forget what specific drug they'd give me) subdued, but apparently you're still "awake", you just have no idea what is going on and can't feel anything, then you don't remember anything later anyway. The surgery is pretty simple and not-so invasive. I have a "sports hernia" as it's more commonly known, but I believe it's technically an inguinal hernia... the common one down in your groin where the intestines pop through where they should be. The surgery involves an incision more in your groin than in the crotchal-region (technical term) that the hernia is actually in, and they insert a mesh that helps keep the intestines on the correct side of the muscle wall and whatnot. They then stitch you up and send you home the same day.
  10. I really don't mean to come off as a dickhead here, but I really can't find it in myself to being sympathetic towards someone who messed up due to the inability to be on time. It's a correctable habit.. if it happens here or there ok, everyone has a bad morning or something. But you then take the proper steps to make sure you are ready a few minutes earlier next time. It's just time management, a key to going to college.
  11. + woke up around 2:30 with nothing to do, so I'm watching It's Always Sunny... DVDs. +I ate a bunch of chicken fingers -probably too many chicken fingers. +ETID album is on the way +so is Five Stories Falling +so are 2 Defiance, Ohio LPs -surgery tomorrow -no eating after dinnerish time because of surgery tomorrow -no aspirin products because of surgery tomorrow, and I have a mega headache.
  12. Nope, I was wrong, I do remember them playing the New Black.
  13. Ahhh Kill the Music was in there too.. shit I have a bad memory. There was no New Black though.
  14. They played probably half of the Big Dirty -No Son of Mine -Pigs is Pigs -They opened with We'rewolf -Cities and Years -Rendez-Voodoo -INRIhab I was surprised no Buffalo Gals, actually. 3 or so songs off GP: -Bored Stiff -Apocalypse Now and Then -Kill the Music -The New Black Off Hot Damn! -I think Romeo a go-go was in there but I'm not positive. -definately Floater to close the set, -Ebolarama, -I've been gone a long time -Off Broadway They covered Motorhead's "The Ace of Spades", and Emergency Broadcast Syndrome was in there somewhere. and then they finished with an encore of "Imitation is the Sincerest Form of Battery" Except where noted, obviously this isn't the order, and I might be missing a song or two off of the big dirty.
  15. Oh man.. I went to their hometown Christmas show last night and it besides being probably the best performance I've seen in a loooong time, it got me really excited to hear these songs on vinyl.
  16. - Bills suck asshole at football + Just got back from seeing ETID's home christmas rock'n'bowl concert. - I might have gotten cracked in the face at some point, or it might just be an unbelievable amount of sinus pressure, but my face and head are killing me. + ETID played Emergency Broadcast Syndrome, which they don't seem to do too often. + It was straight up mayhem.. bodies flying everywhere, people stagediving, bandmembers in the crowd, anyone and everyone grabbing the mic... oldschool mayhem.
  17. What a terribly frustrating, awful performance by the Bills with the season pretty much on the line. Awful play calling on offense and defense..
  18. Most of the time they can do most of that, especially punt, but my god, this is extra painful today.
  19. I've gotten severely annoyed watching the Bills suck it up in the snow. They have managed to look terrible in every single aspect of the game, except for a successful fake punt. They can't punt, snap, run, throw, catch, play defense, tackle, cover receivers, penetrate the line, block......
  20. I got a copy of Thursday's Full Collapse and the mailman left it on the porch in the rain, so it's heavily water damaged. That's the only travel-damage I've gotten that really bugs me.
  21. I found one of those puppies last year in a store in downtown Syracuse. I snatched it up, and it's one of my favorite albums, and one of my treasured pieces of vinyl.
