Ah dammit, I just bought Drunken Lullabies elsewhere because I didn't know you were getting it in.

Joyeux Noel (Merry Christmas) It's a French film about Christmas of 1914 in the trenches of Scottish, French, and German soldiers during WWI. I bought it kind of on a whim... I saw it used at Blockbuster or Hollywood Video and considered it, but went home without it and decided I'd track it down. It's fantastically done.. everyone speaks their own language (Germans speak German, French speak French, etc.) with subtitles and it's a true story.

I had no idea that it would go for that much in the next couple of hours.

Two of my friends here watched it and both said it was pretty terrible. I saw a few minutes (in the classroom while he was taking attendance) and thought it was incredibly dumb, but I've only seen the movies a couple times and don't get too excited about them.

- Back to classes today + Back to having a ton of friends right around - My Intro to Coaching class wasn't all it was cracked up to be, so I dropped it and have an easy-A Archeology class instead. + Rearranged my storage a tiny bit, so my turntable is where my printer used to be (since that broke) and not balancing on a shelf anymore. + My dad put nearly $4000 towards tuition, but I had already paid it, so... to the online stores!

+ Sabres just scored - Not only did my friend have a fire, but a house just down the street is on fire right now. +/- It's interesting to listen to the fire scanner (my brother is a volunteer) although it's sad to think of the damage that's occuring.

I liked TTTYG and don't mind the new one, whatever the hell it's called, but FUCT was so terrible. Even the song content... I want you to write songs, not writing songs-about-writing-songs. Why anyone would pay more than $5 bucks for that is beyond me.

------------ My friend's house JUST had a big fire. My brother is a Volly for the town and I heard him running out the door this morning and when he got back, I asked him what happened and he starts describing a house that turns out to be my friend's. This family has gone through a lot in the last few years, they could've gone without that.

I dunno about you guys, but when I'm drunk, posting on a message board is usually towards the bottom of my list of things to do.

- Neither of the 2 packages of records I was expecting came to my Buffalo address, and tomorrow I'm headed back to Syracuse + I ordered Refused - The Shape of Punk to Come off artist direct - It's "special order" so I know they're just going to say "sorry, we can't get it." But it's worth the shot, right?

ATDI - Relationship of Command arrived from Tokyo today! I can't wait to spin that one.

HEA335 - First Aid (1) HST102 - American History since 1865 (3) HST400 - Imperial Japan 1932-1945 (3) NHM225 - Nutrition in Health (3) PED200 - Ice Hockey (1) PED295 - Weight Training (1) PPE325 - Intro to Coaching (3) And with that, I'll graduate with a dual degree in Economics and History from Syracuse University. Only HST400 is needed for a degree, but I need 12 credits to graduate. I'll take one of the 3cr classes Pass/Fail, and probably drop HST102 so I'll have 12 credits. If I can find a better 1 cr class, I'll drop First Aid, but that's probably useful so maybe I'll keep it. Tuition money well spent, eh?

Just had this on, actually. I bought the LP a while back on a whim after hearing people talk about the band, got it, played it once and immediately preordered the new one.

Damn! Can't you just claim your Mom? For my GF, she claims her Mom and she doesn't even have to mention her Dad. That seems really shitty. We did that, and they sent back the results with my dad included anyway.I can't complain though. My grandpa's friend made millions and millions of dollars and set up a scholarship fund for Bucknell University to help out kids in my sort of situation, and he and his wife have paid my tuition, including funding a semester in London, UK.

I started my collection last spring, so it's not too great. I can't give an exact number because it's in 2 pieces, but here in Buffalo I have 14, I have 12 in transit, and in Syracuse I have ~35-40.

I need to put my record player closer to my bed. I love falling asleep to music, but in the cold winters nights, I never want to get up to flip it if I haven't fallen asleep by the time the side ends.
