  1. I hope the label has the presence of mind to do a second run of this press in the near future. I'm sure there's still demand for it.
  2. I'm all over that Pinback 7". Gotta check with my local guy to see if he was able to order it for me.
  3. You can get that album almost anywhere for about $15 before shipping.
  4. Exactly. I could show you like 30 emails since August that say "Interpunk.com Order Restock OVERDUE" and they keep leading you on even though they have no idea if they'll ever get the item back in stock. Its especially frustrating when its an LP the quantities of which you know are waning and they still keep acting like they'll someday get it. Bullshitters.
  5. Inventions For The New Season. Its ok though because I bought a used one from an awesome dude, either here or deadformat. $12 and in amazing shape! If log in to interpunk and put White Pony in your cart, then go to check out, you'll see that it says Available To Ship* Tomorrow My contention is that you shouldn't count on getting ANY item that doesn't say In Stock when you check out as I've had this issue with two items for the past 9 or 10 months. They're bullshitters.
  6. If an item on interpunk doesn't say that it is "IN STOCK" at checkout, you can pretty much count on them never having it. I've waited since August for them to get a Maserati album back in stock. They never admit they simply don't have something, they just tell you the availability is expected in "5 Days"...."2 Days"... "Tomorrow" then you get "Restock Overdue" and then its waiting for another "5 Days"...etc. etc. Now I finally swapped the Maserati album for Refused - Shape of Punk To Come and am going through the same song and dance... Lame. My advice is: Watch an item that's not in stock and check back on the day they claim it will be available. If it doesn't say "In Stock" in green, don't buy.
  7. the album is 12 years old And I don't know many people who are into similar music who haven't heard Zao, they were fairly fundamental to the scene (whatever that is) I see. Well the thing about me is that I've never really subscribed to particular scenes for music. I've always been about particular artists. I have an excessive attention to detail when it comes to artists that I like so when I listen to one band and someone says "if you like them, you'll like this," there's typically a laundry list of minute details why I wouldn't listen to the band that was suggested to me based on the one I had an affinity for to begin with. Does that make any sense? And as far as this is concerned, if its 12 years old, I may have heard about it but never cared to check them out. I wasn't incredibly adventurous 12 years ago. Plus, my taste is somewhat different now than it was then and has made many changes since then. I don't recall ever hearing/seeing their name I've only started listening to Converge last year. I had heard about them from time to time but nothing made me want to give them a listen until then. I remember seeing the CD cover at Best Buy for Petitioning The Empty Sky and based on the cover alone I assumed it would be some horrible over-zealously Gothic Black Metal shit and passed on it having heard nothing lol.
  8. I'm kinda blown away that this is the first you've listened to the album. Why's that?
  9. Knowing who would be putting this out....a package like this would retail for like at least $40-$60 so I can safely say something like this probably wont happen. Sorry man. Also there are not any talks currently of S/T or SNW being repressed. I was just asking to gauge interest. I might look into these at some point in the near future. For now there is already tons of stuff coming so maybe once all thats out I can work on these. We shall see. Yeah, but I'd probably still pay that just to have it. Of course, I'm probably the ONLY person who would. It just sucks because similar packages have been put together by much smaller labels for much lower price tags. Its unfortunate that the big fish still want more. Yeah, if you could finagle these represses, even just the standard versions, that would be very cool. We won't hold you to it but thanks for looking into it anyway. If I could afford the licensing, that shit would already exist.
  10. Hell yeah! I'm diggin' this. I'm all over that red/black when it comes out.
  11. LOL Thanks guys! I hadn't listened to anything from that album when I posted that. Just started streaming it on myspace and noticed the sample at the very end of The Intro lol. Came back here to report that and got all your sarcastic comments. No hard feelings. That's hilarious. EDIT: Despite some of the cheesy acting, I still love that movie.
  12. Anyone else think they got inspiration for this title from Event Horizon as opposed to just a general knowledge of Latin? Either way, pretty cool band. Might pick this up.
  13. Sweet! The first response to that post is NOT hate! lol Yeah, I highly doubt they'd do all that too but fuck it! I'm announcing right now, if this got done with my checklist of attributes, I'd volunteer to work on it for free with no other compensation than 3 copies of the finished product and maybe a test press.
  14. Ok, I'm about to get really annoying now.... The S/T CD booklet is one of the most amazing examples of album art I've ever seen. I'm in love with it. Throw in an 11X11" recreation of that and I would actually pay a way too high retail price for this thing. So here's the list: -180 Gram 2XLP two different colored discs cut at 45 RPM -A/B Blue w/ Black swirl, C/D Red w/ Black swirl -Stoughton gatefold gloss jacket -11X11 full color 20 page booklet insert /pipedream] Have I left anything out? I'd buy the shit out of that!
  15. AMAZING IDEA! I'm surprised I didn't think of that given what a Deftones and vinyl freak I am. The only difference is I would go for those colors in opaque. Plus, I don't know if it goes without saying or if I already stated it but I would definitely buy these especially if S/T got revamped to a 2XLP. You could probably even make it 45 RPM which would also be a dream come true. But if they could match the rose colors I would totally jizz.
  16. Shouldn't be too hard. Just stay posted here and there will definitely be a thread for it staring you in the face until it comes out.
  17. There is going to be a EYEWTKAS repress expected in May. Have no fear.
  18. This is just a taste: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160546412846&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT I've had dozens of copies of both records saved in my eBay Watchlist that have ended and of course just recently weeded them all out. Most S/T's end between $50 and $90 and most SNW's end in the $60 to $120 range.
  19. You need only to look at recent eBay listings for both to know how many lives you would be saving by getting these going. I mean, seriously, just look at it. Its sick. If you could manage to get in some good words for these to be redone, you would be the hero of all life....regarding vinyl. Please push for S/T to be 2XLP. Its just too long for the single and it shows in the playback. My copy is clear as hell as far as typical vinyl noise but the mix just sounds flat and gray (if that makes any sense. re: synesthesia) due to compression. I know I'm getting ahead of myself and everything but please take it into consideration if/when broaching the subject with the bigwigs.
  20. If you don't mind, I don't mind. Please keep us posted on Adrenaline.
  21. I think you should just put this in your signature, along with "I don't know how to put this, but I'm kind of a big deal" Seconded. This is not going to stop especially since I've been spreading the word to other message boards regarding the Deftones releases and telling them I'm getting the information here. I don't give out your name, I just say that "the vinyl purchaser for HT" is here.
