Regarding Appendage, can someone please explain to me how the fuck they intend to fit 21 minutes of music on a 7"? Am I missing something? Is it a 3x7"?

Yes, the street date at this point is April 5, I believe. Will probably start shipping that week or the week before.

Entered. I probably won't win but if I did, that's about $150 of vinyl and that's being modest on the estimated retail price for most of those records.

I really don't like the AFS labels. The Triple Crown labels are far superior...aesthetically. Its not like they have any important function. Haven't noticed any real differences in sound but I've never played them back to back.

I actually think white vinyl is pretty fuckin' sweet. Love my Diamond Eyes. Again for this release, I prefer the traditional black because of the album cover but I'm sure I'll get both.

I'm getting scared man. Without "Convectuoso" this album just barely makes time for a single LP capacity. Even if it ISN'T on it, I would still prefer a double to maximize fidelity. White Pony is about the same length (with "Convectuoso") and is a 2XLP and is seriously one of the most beautiful presses I've ever heard. I've always felt those two albums had very similar production and going off the tone of WP, I can only imagine how great this can sound on 2 LP's.

Ok. Can anyone confirm whether or not this is going to be a 2XLP?? Travis and SRC, I'm looking in your direction. Please tell me its 2XLP!

Explosions In The Sky? Why would they repress albums that are still available everywhere? Unless you're referring to the first one. Or unless EITS is an acronym for another band that I'm not aware of. In my experience it's behind the counter with everyone asking for what they want when it's their turn. Still chaotic though. Same experience.

Insound prices look pretty ridiculous at a glance. Which are you interested in? The Audio Technica ATLP120USB is ballparking about 200 bucks pretty much everywhere and you can get it shipped free at Amazon. Insound is pushing it for $400. Anyway, that's the one I'm eyeing right now. Just discovered it a few days ago and I can't get my mind off of it.

Good call. I really wonder if there's a possibility of that coming out. I think TAAS said their contribution was done and they were waiting for MTB to finish theirs. It may have been the other way around though.
