Just make sure it's what she'd really want. I'm a photographer too and there's not a whole lot of things I'd want in the $100-200 range. I know that sounds snobby but all the good stuff is really expensive and I'm sure she has the basics like filters, bags, etc. There are some fun things to get in that price range but most laymen don't know about them. I would not get a new lens on your budget, they're all junk in that range. Also, I don't think you can afford new strobes/lights so don't go that route. You can get her a nice tripod if she doesn't have one. The LensBaby is really cool and fun and makes a nice gift. Find out what camera she has and get back to us.

Like I said, I respect the band, I just don't enjoy the music. I certainly don't lump them in with All Time Low and all that other crap they do now. I'm just saying that it was when they signed Thrice the Hopeless sound began to shift to the shit it is now.

it's all a matter of opinion but Thrice is great and they had Kaddisfly which was/is a great band as well I have nothing against Thrice, I know a lot of people really enjoy their music, but Thrice was the first band they signed that signalled the departure from their old sound to what they became. Although I don't like their music I do put them on a much higher level than all the other shit they've signed since then, but Thrice was one of the first bands that shifted Hopeless' sound away from good punk rock to that bullshit they're doing now.

Back when Hopeless was good before they started doing all the bullshit they do now. Their downfall started with Thrice and Avenged Sevenfold. What a joke of a label now. Most of these are gems, though.

Exactly what I was going to say. I actually enjoyed Crimson when it came out, even though it was a change in style, but that last record was total garbage.

If you just want something to tote them around in then Bags Unlimited has what you need. If you want something that adds some sturdy protection you need to look into DJ LP cases. I don't know of any fireproof cases for LPs.

it seems strange that they are playing at joey's bbq, I prefer angelos. Angelo's started pulling this stupid shit with wanting to be 21+ and they didn't want to offer drink specials or help pay out for the bands from the bar. Apparently this new place is much more accomodating with bands and stuff. Just as long as I don't ever have to step foot in Characters ever again I'm cool.
