Did someone say Austin? if you do decide to come through here on the way to Louisiana, by all means let me know. I can pretty much show you or at least send you a list of stuff to do here. New Orleans would be a great city to visit, Austin would be one of the only places i'd recommend around here that has anything interesting about it. San Antonio has some interesting culture, and you can see the alamo, but some of the best missions are about 3 miles south of there, which no one ever visits? Anyway, give me a heads up if you come through and maybe we can grab a drink or a bite to eat. Though it does seem no one really visits anymore. everyone just moves here.

hampton is expensive as they jack the prices up for fest. like 400 a night jacked up. best thing to do is get the HI.

due dates for sending are well before thanksgiving so everyone gets their stuff out before the holiday rush. just in case shit takes fooooorreeeeveeerrrr or gets lost or before someone goes out of town for the weekend.. also (for everyone) please do not write a address where you won't be around the time of shipping.. we had someone move and put down the old address. some gifts that were sent out were date and location sensitive. they kinda went to waste. Also, if you don't have a want list or spreadsheet with your music library or something, start making one now. its a requirement. Also, there won't be any overseas transactions this year unless there is someone in your region. Sorry, but the shipping costs are way to costly.

well if it doesn't exist till after, maybe you should probably sit this one out. there's a reason there's a due date to send. years ago when we had a more lax approach, only about half got their gifts before xmas. the rest started showing up in january and february, and a few never arrived. sorry.

ill most likely pick someone a week before. it's pretty easy. but having to PM people after deadlines is the annoying part because people can't follow basic rules. also so going big for whoever i get this year.

bake, that was me.. i'd walk around hollywood blvd at night if i couldn't catch a bus/subway home from gower and sunset and i lived near the knitting factory. It's definitely kinda sketchy after say 11pm in hollywood area. i only did it maybe 3 times before hearing someone got shot 2 blocks from my house and didn't feel the need to be a statistic. though i saw some funny events late at night walking home that give most people chuckles.

after living in LA, not a fan.. i got out asap. though i do miss it from time to time.. mostly the food and amoeba.

as a person who's been in that industry for almost 3 years, i can feasibly say "No". what you read isn't always the truth. there have been so many studies about how they are more harmful only to be debunked (with science not opinions). there is no combustion and the ingredients are already in your daily foods (including the nic to a degree) personally, they got me off of cigarettes. i haven't had one. i've come to ween myself off the nicotine to a point of 0. i don't even vape when I'm home. it's been almost 3 years and i can breath regularly, haven't had bronchitis in 2 1/2 years. only time i'm effected is by allergies. it also curbs my sweet tooth. i don't eat as many sweets anymore. i've tried quitting 3 times over 27 years and the longest i made it was 8 month. the others were a month or so. but that's my experience though.

the shitty part is we have to wait so damn long for the new season.
