  1. I'm sitting here in the hospital waiting for my mom to step away from this life. I'm bored and I'm mad at her because she nixed my viking funeral idea for just a regular old one. Who the fuck doesn't want a viking funeral?
  2. This is pure snow! It's everywhere! Do you have any idea what the street value of this mountain is? Savage Steve Holland FTW!
  3. taco bell is so disgusting.. you all should be ashamed of yourselves..
  4. i wish i could go bowling more often. no one ever wants to go. but tomorrow should be fun.. gonna go to the gun range. it's been a long while.
  5. "once a great champ..now a study in moppishness" "gee, im really sorry your mom blew up ricky" truth be told i've always wanted that framed photo of ricky to hang in my living room.
  6. I'm not a fan of those people either. I don't vape where people aren't allowed to smoke except work. It can be 100% safe and I still wouldn't do it because it's annoying. Sorta like a woman with tooo much perfume. Smells can be sickening to some. Maybe I'm just full of manners. I don't know. It's technically, vg, some pg, and a lot of water And a minute % of nic.the moisture is mostly from you're mucus membrane. hence when it's always stated when u vape u need to stay hydrated or else you'll suffer from headaches And fatigue. And nothing is ever 100% safe.
  7. It's not completely 100%. But breathing in air in a congested city isn't either. But what I can say is my breathing and immuNE system are acting like rock stars since I quit smoking and started vaping. i have yet to get any cold/flu/etc or what not thats not due to Allergies. I can now run after the ice cream truck. Don't laugh. Though I will say this my nic is at the lowest it can be before 0 and I also don't vape on certain days and I have found I don't have the urge To vape. I do it anyway because it keeps me from eating lots of sweets Though.
  8. that might be the juice. you'd be surprised that many have allergies to pg. i can't do less than 70/30 vg/pg due to the act that it gives me headaches.. my doctor had to tell me this oddly enough. i got heavy vg juices and my headaches went away.
  9. i guess you'd have to be part of the community to understand the company aspect and how juice makers and mod makers are. it's not like buying product from wal-mart. it's more like your friend has a company and youre buying from him. i know and hang out with my juice makers from time to time. some more than others. i know the processes and how the facility is run and the products they use. which is why i trust them. if you vape enough you can actually tell the difference with a bad juice and a juice that is made with the highest ingredients. anyway, there's tons of info on google that refuted that NEJM research about it and even a interview with the scientists claiming they went about it the wrong way. basically with misleading results and cancer risks for something vapors don't do. good luck with everything nonetheless.. im off to work.
  10. the Plos one article, i'd have to read over. i tiredly read it last night while waiting for laundry, you said why is a research story on PLos One not credible.. i gave an exact reason why it may not be.. i can't look over something and break it down in 5 minutes when running on 3 hours of sleep. in short, the study from the NEJM found high traces of formaldehyde in said ecigs that were far more dangerous than regular analog cigs. while that may be true, they failed to mention in every article and news piece that it was tested on various atomizers with no liquid at a 5.5 volt rate in large intervals. people dont' vape dry wicks.. which completely turned into a fear mongering piece amongst the media. this is why i trust vary few news articles. though there was one that found diacityl in a lot of liquids that used cream flavorings. people went ape shit, and everyone started changing their formulas. so while i don't despute some things from the science community, im skeptical about a lot o research because a lot has been dubunked. also if you know how to change fonts in certain pages, let me know. this prince font is annoying the living shit out of me.
  11. its' not that it's not credible. it's just not accurate in it's findings due to the way ecigs are studied.. also from the new england journal of medicine: http://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMc1413069 seems credible correct? wrong. testing was done in a incorrect manner. this is why i don't always believe every medical research that's out there, no matter how credible they seem to be. and that's just the most recent example. i know there are things that need to change, but not necessarily what you might imagine. when youre in the industry you know what to look for with products. most people are vocal amongst anyone who makes shoddy products. it's been self regulating for years. you'd be surprised at the amount of chemicals that use to be in certain liquids at one time till the industry changed itself. this is not including the major tobacco companies who produced ecigs, or blu, or what not. im talking the real industry. not the commercial one.
  12. I get the comparison... and I agree, there should be more stringent testing on e liquids. But a lot of our vendors already test their juices and the juice manufacturers aren't just faceless companies. Many are my friends that i hang out with and I have uttermost trust in them. again in most cases. Njoy and blu, I wouldnt bother dealing with and would never in a million years recommend. Yes usually do have the interest of vapers In mind. Cuttwood did a complete recall of a juice they added frosting whitener too, suicide bunny had all her juices tested and alljuices came back negative or with non traceable amounts of certain carcinogens. So yes they do have the interest of the community in mind.
  13. The carginogens was an example of how the community regulates itself. Nothing more. Peer reviewed research can be mistakenly bias as well. scientists have gone on record about ecig research only to have their tests completely debunked due to their skewed testing. Just like the formaldehyde testing months back.
  14. actually almost all juice manufactures will tell you what they are selling. 95% of the manufacturers we deal with can tell you the exact purity levels of every ingredient. most can have a msds sent from their suppliers. it's not uncommon. yes there are some crappy juice makers, but like any other shitty vendor, we stay clear of them. it's actually a really self regulating industry. if one vendor has a known carcinogen in their ingredients (Ex: cuttwood, having icing whitener) they wouldn't be around much longer if it was purposely done. the only thing vendors won't tell you about is flavorings due to the nature of giving their secrets away. anything else and all will tell you what's in them since they all only care 4 diff ingredients (Pg/vg/nic/flavorings). now, the ones that keep everything secret (most high distro/blu and crap like that) are usually not used by most vapers. just the occasional person looking to quit, but can't because BLU's SUCK BALLS and don't help by any means. also the tests you linked to have already been done before time and time again.. i really hope they were not done in a environment with the same structure as the whole formaldehyde testing. oof. from the pics and jargon i would assume so. the whole formaldehyde debacle, 4 scientists got their asses handed to them and then they started to backpedal soon after. IFLS was made too look the fool for even publishing it. now everyone and their mother is claiming it too be true even though the testing was proven wrong. much like the link you led me too. also mice used in nicotine experiments are usually not the best case since their bodies react differently to nicotine aerosols than humans. and why were pics taken to simulate what the atomizer looks like under certain time conditions. no atomizer looks like that (burning red) unless it's dry (which will then completely give off carcinogens due to the reason behind dry firing it). all that, and the testing seemed a bit shoddy to me. and they used some of the worst juices imaginable. shit you get at the gas station. that stuff is awful and probably industrial or food grade ingredients (well i know one of them is for sure). most likely full of contaminants. uck.
  15. I saw them last friday. the 7"s were both on black. i just got a pin because they had 2 shirts, one of which was white (i don't do white) and they were out of LG in the other. i already have both 7"s. Dudes are gonna blow up really quick. Heard one song on the NO IDEA Fest band page before this past years fest and loved them. Too bad i couldn't get into the show, but whatevs. Been listening to them just about everyday since. Friday, They were fun live and it was like 30 degrees out and i didn't even think about the cold the whole time. It was a blast. Good tunes.
  16. I'd see them again. But wonder who they got on guitar for this one.
  17. question: anyone have a good recommendation on a camera? im looking to buy one but i would like one i could use for shows. i'm looking at cameras with high iso's and wondering if 12,800iso (without boost and get crappy noise) is good enough for say a small club show) im really looking at a nikon d5200 or a canon 70d. and of course a 1.4/1.8f 50mm lense. if anyone has any recommendations by all means.. let me know.
  18. i found it funny reading about it the next day. i didn't,nor do i ever, watch the grammys. but every now and again i hear a smidgen of what happened. if i do i like to read the comments when shit like this happens. the idiocy in the section is humorous to me. especially when people talk like the person the story is about is actually reading the comments section. ex: "FUCK YOU, BEYONCE WON MORE GRAMMYS..etc etc etc.. YOU GO BEYONCE!. DON"T LET ANYONE TELL YOU YOU"RE NOT GOOD!! Say hi TO YOUR FAMILY FOR ME"
  19. anyone looking to get a mechanical or two. i just found a infinite CARTEL (clone) set (with all 3 tubes) in the desk drawer. smdh. also have a nemesis one too. let me know. they'll go on the cheap ($20-$30). i don't really remember even buying these.
  20. i just found out 3 more of my friends (in the last 2 weeks) are getting married. 2 of my friends said "i assume you're going stag as per usual". FML
  21. you'll have to wait till march or april. they are in production and not scheduled to be finished till then. unless you get a clone. all teleos and cloud science juices are probably some of the cleanest juice i've ever tried next to alpha. i hate the veritas. i hate building on them.. but the vape is amazing. we just got some ego-1's. holy shit they are awesome. .5 ohm coils and the battery and atty are sleek and are small as hell. we got delta II's coming in soon. apparently they're better than the atlantis. if anyone is gonna get a atlantis, wait and get the science of vaping atty that takes them. way better looking.
  22. yes, the average for top shelf juice that's distributed is $22 - $27 (five pawns). its not uncommon.
  23. well theres never been a limit. it's up to the sender to send. but doing something different would be cool. making it more like a game so the sender has to figure out what to get and limit it to one record. or something like that.
  24. also i'll start the list for the christmas in april gift exchange. as of this today, a moderator can unsticky this forum. thanks everyone.
