What a total shit time to be unemployed/broke.

My bass player in my old band has been straight edge for 21 years (he's 37 now, and yes, he was into some heavy shit before he was 16). He was perfectly fine hanging out with and being in a band with me (drunk) and our drummer (drunk AND stoner). That seems to be the case with all the old Seattle edgers... they hang out at the same bars as the rest of their friends, they're just drinking "a tall OJ, no ice" (my bass player's drink of choice, haha).

About 5-6 years ago I was working graveyard shift and hating life. Subsequently, I was drinking a lot, so things were a little slippery down there fairly often. Anyway, I had just arrived at work around midnight, and right as I got out of my car I sharted. VERY luckily for me, I had my dirty laundry in my car because I was planning on hitting the laundromat after work. So I grabbed a pair of dirty drawers, stuffed them in my pocket, and went and changed them out in the bathroom.

- Roommate's fucking cat woke me up twice before I had been asleep for 4 hours. - I have a headache from either lack of sleep or being pissed (I never get headaches). + It's sunny and 87 in Portland today.
