Barsuck needs to repress. Photo Album in particular. I see that thing on ebay for over $100 regularly. I had one this last year listened to it a couple times, did a 24/96khz archive then decided I'm not pretentious/emo enough to like Death Cab anymore and sold it to a very grateful kid on the other board.... for a profit... somehow.

I spent more than $100 for mine... OG. I just can't see paying any amount for a bootleg... well more than $10. I haven't heard the boot, but I wager the sound is not as good. I'm also suspicious since the Salival & 10,000 days bootleg are CD sourced. That just defeats the whole purpose of buying LPs. I'd rather do a good upsample of the CD than listen to bullshit. Speaking of bullshit, Tool is. Multi-platinum unit-movers like them have no business being limited press or no press.

My store didn't have Worship & Tribute... I also pre-ordered it from a couple of places online... (importcds.com and amazon). Does anyone know if those pre-orders are actually going to be fulfilled? If not someone scalp me a copy.

it should be, it was mostly recorded at George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch! LOL... they should release a special edition of El Cielo with somewhat racist animated characters inserted into the original work.... the way dredg originally re-envisioned it.

Use the mic input, then you don't have to put up with only 16-bit, 44khz cd sample rate as your quality ceiling. Personally I record everything with audacity at 192khz or 96khz at 32-bit floating. Then export to 24-bit 96khz. If it's going on an iPod or something stupid like that use a good dithering program and resample to 24-bit 48khz. Awesome.

where did you get the DTS rip? i'd love to hear that PM'd. You'll need VLC or similar to play it back.

I just listened to Catch Without Arms for the first time in a year or so.... it's amazing. Using guitar as texturing is nice. And I noticed this isn't one of those digitally clipped albums. Makes for a very enjoyable listen. I'm also about half way through the last album, it's much better than I remember. Also has anyone else heard the SACD of El Cielo? I have a dts rip of it, it's incredible... I wish a 2xLP of it existed! I haven't listened to Chuckles & other dumb name, I hate the cover, it seems like hack-art. I do think the LP is probably the only way I'd want to hear it. So I'll just buy it when it's available. Also I don't want to have my first experience of listening to the album be MP3s at 192k. I remember that very much ruined "pariah" for me at first. and +1 for Dan the Automator... I love the first Head Automatica album. Speaking of which why isn't that an LP yet?!

Tell them to repress What It is to Burn... that shit goes for over 100 on ebay... And Finch's Say Hello to Sunshine, it's a crime that's a CD only release. Tell them at least 200 people will buy that on the Finch board. But most of us on that board would buy two each. So that's 400 sold, leaving only 100 records remaining. /500 would make a lot of people happy!

I saw them with RX Bandits they were ace. Put too many pretentious bands in one venue... it's dangerous.
