Kickstarter funds all (minus fees) or nothing. We are a long ways from our goal. Yes, we do need all $5,000 to make this work. Maybe we set our goal a little hight but if we get close we can fund the rest out of our pockets. Kickstarter doesn't guarantee their backers will deliver and that kind of sucks. I love this album and I want to own it on vinyl. If no one else is going to try I thought I would. If it doesn't happen then at least I've helped spread the word about the band. A few years ago I co-ran Milk n' Herpes and everything went smoothly. So I do have some experience in getting a record pressed and mailed out.

I have no idea what any of that means. Test press packages will get the colored variant that is limited to 150, not the band exclusive color.

I think I have an early tour cd if anyone is interested...

Has anyone tried Nine Inch Nails - The Slip? How about CDs, DVDs or anything else that are known code generators?

I managed to get one of those screened cover editions of Kveikur. On a messageboard I posted for help in London if anyone was going to the Independent Market. A nice guy messaged me and told me he was going to go to see Pere Ubu and he'd go early and try to snag me one. He only charged me what he paid plus shipping. I gave him some extra money just because he's awesome. Though he'd never mailed a record before it was probably the best packaged album I've ever seen. I geek out super hard for Sigur Rós and this is the centerpiece of my SR collection.

Thanks for the encouragement. I didn't do that though. Where did you see it? Possibly the band did that, I don't know. Thanks for the idea though. If anyone knows any other boards, blogs or anywhere else I can post this any help would be appreciated. Derp.... Nevermind about the blogspots.

Kickstarter isn't the best option but it's really the only one I can offer and afford at the moment. If you look at it as a kind of pre-order system it's not too terrible.

This seems like a short time frame through announcement>order>shipping. Kudos to Arcade Fire/Merge for having their shit together.

This style is almost overdone already and I'm already starting to get annoyed with the 'blackgaze' tag. But Vesper is fresh, interesting and memorable. This is an AOTY contender and I think 'Gauss' will probably be my SOTY The CD version came out in March and it's received universally great reviews. Encyclopaedia Metallum gave this 95/100. I had heard a few of these songs and I was worried about the rest of the songs. I'm surprised. I love almost every song on here. Great album.

I got mine from Best Buy. Not real cheap but that's what I expected with it shipping from Australia.

I hated the National going in but they won me over. I liked Funeral and Neon Bible but thought Suburbs was boring. After the show I found a new appreciation for Suburbs. Arcade Fire was incredible live. Top 10 show.

Is anyone having trouble finding things that aren't out of stock? I searched for nearly everything that I want and now I have 20 items in my cart that are out of stock and can't find a single thing I want. I kind of feel like Best Buy is picking on me. I tried throwing a couple items in that I knew would be in stock and they worked fine so I don't think BB is broken. Is anyone else having similar problems?

I've had some items say they are sold out and that i need to remove them from my cart before checkout. It still lets me checkout with them in there. Love it.

Anyone know what color the Offspring Smash is on?
