Running a distro is nice but sometimes you regret selling some of that stuff. But you also get to snag a lot of good stuff. I ran one with a buddy a few years ago. We used to order things from stickfigure, midheaven, and a couple other distros. I think going with labels directly would be a better deal. Just email them, tell them you're running a distro and you'll get wholesale rates. Obviously they expect you to buy multiple copies of a few things so it doesn't look like someone building a nice collection for themselves. Distros and larger labels will probably have minimum orders. This distro was run at shows and not online so I can't really help you with that aspect of it.

I doubt it will be many, many bones. Magic Bullet is almost always super cheap and I don't expect this to be much different.

Scratch what I said about Frightened Rabbit - Woodpile 12". I just got shipping confirmation on it. I've heard nothing from the FR camp about this release and they're usually pretty good about emailing when new releases come out.

OMG, you labeled me? Is this the part where I get offended or something? I'm don't dislike the Beatles for an image or rebelling against pop music. I respect them. I think they were talented and had some good songs. But when I weigh them against similar bands of the era there are a lot of other bands that I like a lot more. I like people who have similar interests as me, isn't that normal?

I got lucky and got a copy of Baroness - Red on clear for $80. A pretty good deal if you ask me.
