I emailed Vinyl Films about the We Built a Zoo soundtrack. They've told me twice that it's still happening. So Sigur Ros/Jonsi & Alex fans keep your eyes peeled.

Fuck Walmart. I didn't need them before and this isn't going to make me step foot in there. I doubt they'll ever carry anything I want anyway.

Don't send it. At BEST you'd get one or two signatures. Those guys are hardly all together unless they're recording or playing a show. Some of them don't live in Iowa. I used to work at a sushi place and our busboy had a ticket stub he kept in his wallet and whenever he saw one of the guys around town he'd ask for an autograph. He had most of them. One night Corey comes in and he goes up and asks him. He was nice but firm when he told the kid to leave him alone because he was eating. If he came back when he was done it would be a lot cooler. The ticket was so old and ratty you couldn't even see the first couple of autographs anymore. I admired his dedication though.

An RSD 10"? What is this? I don't know anything about it. Is it the Varúð or Ekki Mukk? Those are the only recent-ish 10"s that I know of but I didn't think either were RSD releases.

Does anyone have any details on the actual pressing. Have they been remastered? Reworked art or packaging? If I own these on vinyl already is there any reason for me to buy them?

My friend has an AFI record with no music on it. Don't know if it counts but I have a couple records that have smudges of the wrong color in the vinyl.

I don't care what is on the record but I don't want a shirt with boobs, or a dick on it. I'd like to be able to wear it in public or to work.

A few days ago I was poring through ebay looking for something on glow in the dark vinyl. I've been collecting for 15 years or so, have 1800+ records and not a single glow record. I'm also a sucker for etchings. It was a little pricey but I had to do it. The glow in the dark cover helps too.

If I liked "Breathing In Is Only Half the Function" would I be into their other stuff?

Boris stuff was ridiculous for a while. I think they just put out way too much stuff and too many less than stellar releases. Blank Dogs, the Muslims, Red Sparowes, Jay Reatard.

I'd be pretty stoked if they ripped off the Carl Sagan - Glorious Dawn 7" and do black with glow in the dark specks (stars). This movie ruled. Similar in feel to some of the more epic space operas from the last few years but with much tighter science.

You really should check out In Return and Meanderthal. Harmonicraft is pretty decent too. Pretty pumped anytime there is new torche.

My attention span isn't the problem with this but with the price tag. I'm sure this will grow on me and I'll drop the money in a few weeks anyway. The artwork on all of their releases is incredible though.

Damien and his girlfriend Lisa broke up. A lot of his songs were about her and sung with her. They had a tumultuous relationship and were on tour in Europe 7 years ago when a fight broke out back stage. He fired her and she walked out of his life. She hasn't spoken to him since. I'd guess that was a big reason for the delay. EDIT: I just realized I didn't answer your question at all but I thought I'd shed some light on what has taken him so long.

Serge did an AMA on Reddit a couple months ago and someone asked him about vinyl. He said he had no idea there was any sort of demand for it and would 'talk to someone' to see if he could get the ball rolling on it. Not holding my breath though.

Saw these guys play a couple weeks ago. They need to work on their performance a bit. Unbelievably boring. I pre-orderd this before I saw them. I really hope they sound better recorded.
