  1. He never posted them, but here they are. Dude takes quality photo's. http://www.ebay.com/itm/THE-DILLINGER-ESCAPE-PLAN-Option-Paralysis-LP-RED-BLUE-WHITE-VINYL-600-converge-/331803355594?hash=item4d410569ca:g:3ywAAOSwxp9W52Yr
  2. Hell yeah man. Aren't you eskimo brothers with Stephen Carpenter?
  3. This has been my experience as well. You should be fine, unless they change rules on a whim because, PayPal.
  4. I have the map from Kyoto. Shoot me your e-mail address and I'll scan it and send it to you with some recommendations. I plan on sending it to the OP as well tomorrow. Jet Set was probably my least favorite store of all that I went to, and I think I hit something like 30 stores b/w Tokyo and Kyoto. It was all new stuff that seemed priced really high, and the used stuff they had was nothing special. It got really good reviews, too. I don't know, I guess to each their own, but it wasn't for me. I didn't think the transportation in Kyoto was terrible, we were able to get everywhere we wanted to go on the subway and walking. Seemed really easy to me. I lucked out finding that map in a really small store in Kyoto, my wife actually stumbled upon it. I personally thought the shopping was a little better in Kyoto over Tokyo, though both were epic. It's really a toss up, but I think overall I enjoyed Kyoto more than Tokyo so maybe that's where my bias comes from. We didn't make it to Osaka, but will be going back this year in August as well, so your recommendations are definitely noted.
  5. Lol, you're delirious. Kyoto has some killer shops. I have a map that has a cluster of around 15-20 stores in a mile + radius. I hit up most of them and found some really good records. It's funny dude up above mentions Jet Set records, that place was one of the worst stores I went to in Japan, but not surprised it was deemed awesome by VC standards since it's mostly new junk.
  6. I thought it was Secular Haze at first, but his Ebay page is littered with your usual limited edition VC posts and Funko Pop, so I stand corrected http://www.ebay.com/sch/vjme13/m.html?item=231872548951&hash=item35fcae5057%3Ag%3ATs4AAOSwZQxW4Nz7&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562 Keep an eye out though, if you need RSD releases, he'll "help you out" by selling them here.

  8. Don't forget WFMU which is the April 29 - May 1. Already got my train ticket to come up for that. One of my favorite shows to attend every year.
  9. Agreed. 5,000+ records with no dividers is the best dig ever. Once you memorize where everything falls alphabetically it's cake. I considered doing genres about a year ago but realized how much work it would be and gave up the idea. I also have a separate area for box sets.
  10. New song - http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/kvelertak-to-release-nattesferd-album-in-may-new-song-1985-streaming/
  11. Holding out for the Hot Topic lim. ed. combo pack that comes with a pair of JNCO jeans and a chain wallet.
  12. I would strongly recommend you reverse that decision. One thing you might consider is looking around for a nice used Technics 1200MK2. For the money they're one of the best tables you can find.
  13. No, sharing what you made here was a mistake and unprofessional, regardless of how much you make. That being said, I thought my comment was appropriate. I could have said, "Hey kid, get a real fucking job and stop dicking around making $200 a week while spending most of what you make on records". I assume that would have bent you out of shape far more than my initial comment. Clearly your parent(s) aren't parenting, so apparently people on a message board need to do their job.
  14. If you're making $200 a week you should stop buying records and start looking for a new job that pays better, or look into putting the money you make towards educating yourself for a better career path.
  15. I was wondering why the single sucked and had no heaviness. I hope he eventually starts a new project that has some balls. http://www.theprp.com/2016/02/23/news/deftones-stephen-carpenter-on-gore-i-didnt-want-to-play-on-the-record-to-begin-with/
  16. Finally a nice room with shelves that aren't adorned with a bunch of lame ass neon / colored lights. Well done, sir.
  17. Gave it a listen expecting it would be cool since Bloody Cape is my favorite Deftones song. Wrong. Totally sucked ass.

  19. I would guess in the parking lot with a Sabbath CD pumping. When I saw them last year the band was great, but Ozzy was abysmal.
  20. That cover gave me a headache. Absolutely terrible.
  21. I have thought about ordering these from CM USA a few times. Iced Earth is ok to me, not a huge fan, so I just don't know how much I would listen to them. I love their album art more than the music most of the time.
  22. $46.56 shipped for a record that's limited to 3,500 copies........$40 t-shirts.......Deftones should win an award for best in ripping off their fans.
