I'd be more excited for a new BOTAR than anything else I know thats coming out. I was super excited when Streetlight played It's a wonderful life last time I saw them but no one else seemed to care.

I was listening to the cd for probably at least the fifteenth time and I actually was listening to the '59 sound lyrics. It is heartbreaking. Anyone else catch this?

Not to be typical, but I'd probably choose: Bruce Springsteen- Born To Run Social Distortion- I wasn't Born to Follow Gaslight Anthem- Drive Bruce Springsteen- Thunder Road Social Distortion- Don't take me for granted I also have a hard time thinking without my music in front of me.

I saw Five iron Frenzy and they did the same thing. I love their music, but god, that was awkward. I saw FiF on the farewell tour in a church and after every new day they played some sort of christian song and I look aroudn and everyone has their eyes closed and hands in the sky looking up. It was weird.

I see what yorue going for, but I think the main benefit of DSLRs are being able to take better pictures because you have more control.

Based on very loose calculations (from just torrent sites like Waffles, Demonoid, and ton of others) I can confirm at the very least 500,000 d/l's of Sink or Swim. With the hype this band is getting the new record will easily double that. Also note I'm talking world wide. Assuming youre right, wow. But I think its a double standard, because there is absolutely no way 500,000 people would have heard that album much less bought it without the internet.

Very much agreed. I feel that most of the songs have the same feel as "Blue Jeans & White T-Shirts". Senor is a bridge between Sink or Swim and '59 sound. I can see that, I was thinking more of the three electric songs. I also think the production on that EP was by far the best of the three. Unfortunately with this one seeming the worst.

From the first couple listen there are no songs that jump out to me as much as the first three on Senor and the Queen. It seems like Sink or Swim is a bridge between this and Senor and the Queen which doesn't really make sense. Either way, I'm sure I'll love it.

I stayed up all night and walked to shoreline last year and walked right in and fell asleep in the middle, they eventually kicked us out but it's definitely doable.
