I think shipping for the Thrice at Guitar Center 7" cost more than the record itself to Canada, too. In my experience that store has been almost as bad as HT for shipping.

Totally forgot about this thread. I did end up splurging on the deluxe package, I can't wait for it to ship. The soundtrack itself fits the film perfectly, the movie itself was supposedly a little more faithful to the book than the Swedish one (this coming from a friend who read it like a week before). I was actually disappointed they didn't put a couple tracks like A Thousand Details or Oraculum in the film, but that's all the more reason to listen to the soundtrack on its own. Beautiful music, the covers were well done too. His wife really has some pipes on her, you don't really get to hear it as much on the How To Destroy Angels EP. For those asking, I don't know if I would necessarily say the US version was "better". It was really good, I thought, but the only reasons I would recommend it over the Swedish version are for the soundtrack, and because it's in English. The Swedish ones are still really good, I might actually fire the last 2 up over holidays if I have time.

Jesus. Well that about confirms it, despite having good quality releases when they're actually fucking released, I won't be ordering from MTS anymore. I actually forgot I had one of these packages ordered until my roommate reminded me about a week ago, that's how retardedly delayed this is. It'd be different it it was the odd release that got pushed back, but it's every goddamn one.

After getting burned on this one (well not burned, but really? In the end waiting 4 months for a record I pre-ordered is too much), the Farewell Continental LP that STILL isn't shipping, and a forum user from the beginning of summer, I'm starting to give up on this whole pre-ordering even a month or 2 in advance. A couple guys that went last year were talking to my buddy who's coming and said there are cheap shuttles that will take you from Orlando to Gainesville, does anyone know any more info about this? We got a good seat sale to Orlando but are hoping we won't have to rent a car for the few days.

Every time I see the LP artwork I think of NIN's The Fragile. The whole package looks awesome though, can't wait for mine to show up. I'm surprised nobody's posted a vinyl rip of the album online yet.
