its very post-rocky so the parts we have are waaaay different from each other. if one guitar is missing it removes a huge chunk of the songs out of there. its not like some pop-punk band where everything is interchangeable unfortunately. but yeah I don't see it as that huge of a problem, just can be a nuisance when working on already formulated shizz

yeah true story...I basically just need to man up and approach him about it. He gets suuuper defensive when we ask what his problem is so it makes it really hard sometimes, but I guess thats all there is to it eh

so, I've always been in bands with pretty close friends so no drama would really arise, and if anything did it would be small stuff we got over quickly. Lately, with my current band, our drummer just does not seem like hes into it anymore. the deal is that the other guitarist works for forest services so he gets shipped off to other states for 2 wks at a time during the spring/summer; really at any point this is possible. This has been laid on the table multiple times and we all agree that we still think its worth it to continue even if this is the case, but every now and then the drummer seems very irked by the situation. now I understand this, but we all already agreed on the stipulations of getting this off the ground so its very frustrating when his frustration just turns into negativity and he just seems like he doesn't care about what happens, what we do, how we progress, etc...is this something that anyone else encountered? Hes an awesome dude, its just getting really saddening and puts us all in a bad mood...I'm kinda bad at speaking my mind in certain situations like this, so I'm just looking to see how anyone thinks this should be approached, thanks!

me too man En Garde is still one of my all time favorite albums, super sad they just kinda disintegrated, it seems

the album itself is just on the first lp. the other two are full of b-sides, songs from eps, and demos. I'll admit, its a lot of stuff I don't need(demos) but the rest sounds fucking phenomenal and looks fantastic, totally worth every penny and in no way regret purchasing this. if you don't want it, don't hate! I'm sure you can find some other JEW albums cheaper like Invented

YES. Them and Pinback are my two favorite bands live EVER. First time I saw them was for the Peregrine tour with Russian Circles and Criteria opening; was in a lameass venue but they killed so hard. Fucking phenomenal.

yeah Zia is probably my least favorite of stores in town, they are all over AZ and a couple in Vegas I believe. But I went into a couple ON RSD and no one had any freaking clue about this. The people there, for the most part, just work there and don't pay attention to alot of the stuff going on so that's gonna be a dead end as far as asking the stores themselves

yeah I would grab one if you see it, but I'm not sure on the price falling or anything. JEW vinyl seems to be nothing but super fucking pricey. They repressed Clarity two years ago but the price on that remains absurd and ridiculous. The store I went to sold out of these within 2 minutes of being open, while the line I was in was slowly spilling into the store, which forced me to go to 3 other stores before finding it. JEW fans are pretty freaking insane, but that may be because I live in their hometown so people here pretty much get boners over the mention of their name...me included

BA is 140g Black There's the colored version too which is mainly limited to Coachella and online, apparently. I think its LP1: Navy Blue, LP2: Orange, LP3: White The black looks really really good for this record though.

I'm a Fanta man myself, fuck Crush All I got was JEW and I'm completely happy as I was able to pre-order the Elliott repress from RevHQ the couple days it was online. I DID want the Pinback 7" but none of the 4 stores I went to trying to find JEW had that, but I'm hoping they have something equally as cool on tour when I see 'em next week. This is my first RSD I actually kinda cared and holy crap ...the last store I went to was the only one that was bearable. Besides some sweet releases, this shit is freakin insane.

Just got home with this and am freakin loving it! Went to 4 stores, and finally Stinkweeds in Phoenix has like 15 or so of these left if anyone's in the area. Was gonna try to grab two for anyone else that missed out but they were pretty hardcore on enforcing the one per person thing. The owner was giving this couple a hard time for trying to buy one for each of them haha. But yeah, like boobz mentioned, I'm sure some will turn up on their site or somewhere else for a decent price; godspeed!
