  1. man that is retarded. funny too...bottom of the post has a link to the next post which is... Why Record Store Day Is More Important Now Than Ever: http://www.nme.com/blog/index.php?blog=146&p=10064&more=1&c=1
  2. anyone know when this is supposed to ship? I know "sometime in April" just wondering if anyone has heard any updates? gettin antsy for this, already love the crap out of it!
  3. only looking to buy. weeded out the stuff I don't really want lately. the only thing I have I would like to get rid of really is a Graf Orlock/Greyskull split but if you're willing to sell??
  4. got a couple of these, but I splurged on some other stuff I was looking for so i'm actually holding off since I wanna keep funds for RSD...thanks to all who helped!
  5. oh sweet! I really wish they would have pressed more. It's one of those albums everyone should own
  6. damn those went quick! just a heads up on the Elliott...RevHQ had these up for pre-order about a month ago, put in my order on 3/12, so I'm sure a good chunk of those got sold already, but you may wanna contact Revelation to see if there are any stores with some more maybe? I heard the pressing info was /500 instead of the initial /330 so idk how fast 500 of those would have sold. RevHQ only had it up for a couple of days
  7. whammy! good news for this guy who loves good news...ok lame, but anyways, one of my bandmates finally paypal'd me the rent for our space, which is partially why I was so broke, soo I'm able to snag this now. thanks for offering though to the couple of awesome guys who offered! keep up the good samaritan 'tudes!
  8. I forgot to mention that I don't pay for the plane ticket to Arizona. but I'd totally throw in a handy or something to make it worth your while...ok now I'm just going overboard. but if you send me a picture of yourself I can photoshop a nice date in the Arizona sunset
  9. I'm whatever you want me to be! I could maybe talk my sister into it?? ok not really....damn, you're onto me
  10. is there anyone that is picking up two or has yet to order and would be willing to pick up two from SoundStageDirect and would want to flip one my way?? I would pay you $30 plus shipping for it so you would be getting your own copy for $10! I reeeeeally want this but taxes killed me til payday next Wednesday. I would be eternally grateful and I could take you on a date as well?? Lemme know if anyone's feeling like a sweetheart
  11. ^^ that. I got a couple records from Amazon today and saw a big box on my doorstep; when I looked inside there was a nice sturdy LP mailer fitted perfectly within the bigger box and a giant rubberband to keep them together while mailing. For newer releases on vinyl, Amazon is the shit. I'm always super wary to order from companies with no credibility. Saving a couple bucks is not worth it if you don't know how they do business. AND if you wait and order a couple releases at a time you can get the free shipping through UPS.
  12. damn, kinda wish I'd ordered this now =\ all the extra crap was not worth it to me and I couldn't justify shelling out money for the record alone, especially once they raised the price ten bucks, buuuut that green is sweet. green records give me boners for some reason and I listened to this album for the first time in like 3 years and forgot how much better it is than the stuff follow In Keeping Secrets...*sigh*
  13. haha well played sir. thats all I would have done with it too...godspeed to ya!
  14. man theres some good stuff on here! I like learning more about the people on this board, always interests me..my band has been so slow moving as far as progress goes, but heres a video our drummer made with old World War 2 stock footage: http://www.video.me/ViewVideo.aspx?ci=23830&vid=159342 post rock-y type of stuff. no vocals to comment on like you guys
  15. not sure how much time you have to spend in AZ, but as you head north from Phoenix, the scenery gets prettier and prettier. depends on what you're into as well, but as far as scenic places, Jerome is awesome; its an old ghost town with one main road and siiiick views. Old hotels, an old bar, killer pizza place, highly recommended. Flagstaff is also awesome, especially this time of the year. It's a college town, but a lot more laid back than the people in/around Phoenix that go to ASU; again, really pretty scenery, awesome food, and awesome people. If you had an extra day or two, I would recommend going for a hike into Fossil Creek or Wet Beaver Creek. Beautiful swimming spots and probably some of my favorite spots in the state, for the sheer fact that parts of it are not the barren desert people sometimes associate Arizona with. I LOVE living in Arizona and would love to give some more recommendations if you're looking for something specific to do!
  16. ^^ yeah that's what I took away from it too from the way it's worded.
  17. yeah I'd try to get in on some test presses for this one way or another...aaand "Your package from Cavity Records. LLC is on its way." woohoo!!
  18. hell yeah! got in on some of that orange action. thanks for posting this!
  19. RevHQ has a pre-order up for this. shipping on April 7th: http://revhq.com/store.revhq?Page=search&Id=CAV017 nothing on Cavity's site still...
  20. man...I just got a copy of Futures in a trade. so happy I didn't have to drop that ridiculous amount of money for it. that's eBay for ya though
