The story of "HipsterAsFolk" dates back to when I was a wee child in Kindergarten. On all my coloring assignments I use to draw an Anarchy sign with my my crayons (and they weren't Crayola either, because Crayola is for capitalist bourgeoisie.) After a few detentions and suspensions I was eventually kicked out of school. This resulted in me writing the Anarchist Cookbook for 1st graders (at the age of 5 1/2,) this proving to be only the beginning for my tr00 PVNX legacy. From there I assembled a group of similar aged Anarchist to join me to eventually blow up the playground using home made bombs. These bombs were produced using my mom's Diet Coke 2-Liters and my grandpa's Mentos. When recess came that day nothing was the same, we barraged the whole entire playground only leaving a fiery blaze of charred wood chips and corn syrup coated monkey bars. From there on we knew there was no turning back and slipped pop rocks into the faculty's soda vending machine in the Teacher's Lounge. This second attacked resulted in several of the school staff to spontaneously combust while teaching (due to the pop rocks infusion in their bittersweet cola of Anarchy!) From there, we all dispersed around the world with only our bathroom rigged tattoo gun (which melted crayons into tattoo ink) tattoos to remember each other by.

I wanted to see if it was possible to spoil The Sixth Sense for someone in the year 2011.

It actually worked once in 2012.

I played saxophone in high school, and every year during band camp, the saxophone section would come up with nicknames for each member starting with "Sir" for the guys and "Lady" for the girls. My nickname ended up being "Sir Nonsense" and I've used that with various number combos for social media handles, passwords, email addresses, you name it. I did have the "Sir" part on my VC username until a few months ago, when I figured it was a bit too...much.

Nonsense is less embarrassing to say out loud anyways. I feel like "Sir Nonsense" has a weird fedora vibe to it.

    Shameless (re)self promotion:
My band released this album in September, and it's a free download on bandcamp. Kinda all over the place genre-wise.
Little bit of pop-punk, little bit of post-hardcore, little bit of emo, little bit of electronica, little bit of post-rock, blah blah blah

Yeaaaah, people have weird reactions to things they can't comprehend sometimes. I'm very open about it though and I'll always answer questions. The "you need a good lay" is probably the only thing that gets to me. And if I ever have a significant other, it'll probably get me down a lot when people bombard him with things like "wow, that sucks how do you handle it?" And "you're a total hero to all men for being in a relationship without sex."
But you know it will happen.
I'm just very demonized as being prude and withholding pleasure from people. Also the aspect of "does that mean you won't/can't bare children?"
Asexuals get the same awful sides as the rest of LGBTQ(A), but we get it from everyone.
Luckily most people have been very respectful toward me.

If any label is looking for a record to press this year, I highly suggest Bradley Hathaway - How Long.  I can't stop listening to this record, and with the right push, I think this record would sell no problem.

If I had a label of my own, I would totally do what I could to release this.

Is nobody going to say Loveless by MBV? I'm a huge fan of Modest Mouse and Godspeed but I might as well throw this one in. I could be a writer for Pitchfork with these choices.

Thanks for everyone who sent PMs  - it was cool meeting some new folks, and I figured the giveaway albums probably would not be desired by 90+% of members, so that would limit things.

A couple of designs where part was showing could have been other shirts folks listed like the LLO Tour shirt (Sunlight Ascending)- which I think is still available in my size on GF

If you want pics of any of the shirts, just PM me, it's too much work to link up to all of these haha
