That's the great thing about Swans: so many lovers, but all for different reasons. And they will remain interesting so long as they continue to evolve. One thing is certain they never make the same LP twice. Ok there are definite periods on their work (noise, drone, acoustic etc) but never the same.

Ordered Filth, signed, and a nice two sided poster. Here's hoping Soundtracks and Swans are Dead are the next two...

Anyone actually hear these yet? Are they sonically better than the OP? The originals are a little flat sounding, no bass depth to them. Wondering whether to buy or stick to the org?

I order loads if stuff from Amazon uk - it's certainly well packaged to travel inland, whether it's better packaged to go abroad I don't know. They usually send in a mailer in a larger box packed with paper. Like I said fine for shorter journeys.....
