  1. It fits 800 CD's (full jewel cases). I think the one drawback is that bottom shelf is a tiny bit shorter than the rest... destroys the symmetry. I made the 7" separators/labels (paper and clear packing tape!) nearly 10 years ago. Some nice folks at the old Wax Trax in Boulder, CO gave me the LP separators (with one side still unlabeled) from old bands that they no longer stocked.
  2. Since I love looking at other people's shelves, I thought I'd post mine: Obviously I'm a fan of keeping things vertical to free up other space. The first (vinyl) came with the house and the second (CD's) is mostly a Prepac Double Width Barrister Audio Video Storage Rack (~$150 ppd) that I can recommend since it's treated me very well for the last few years. Now let's see some more shelving pictures, I'm gonna have to move eventually!
  3. Just about all of the Discount stuff was put out on wax. To wit: Discount- Ataxia's Alright Tonight Far Out 12" Discount/ J Church- Difficult Covers Rugger Bugger 12" Discount- Crash Diagnostic New American Dream 12" Discount- Half Fiction Liquid Meat pink 12" Discount- Open Ended Arial Rugger Bugger UK 7" Discount- All Too Often Mighty Idy blue cover 7" Discount- Wonder Pulled Me Under Liquid Meat 7" Discount/ My Pal Trigger- Tripucka Parkway 7" Discount/ My Winter Jane- Snuffy Smile Japan 7" Discount/ Beauty School Dropout- Speedowax purple #51/ 100 hand painted, UK 7" If I remember correctly Virgil used to have a few boxes of the My Pal Trigger split lying around in the old Bakamono basement for years.
  4. Long time drummer (Lainey) left a few years back and that slowed things. But they are playing a festival in the UK next month. Stubbs acoustic would be enough of a reason for me to buy a ticket.
  5. Sorry, was trying to have you not feel bad for leaking things. Yes. Leatherface.
  6. Nice pick up. That damn UK exchange is killing us US-based Anglophiles.
  7. ^ Wahoo beat me to it. I think white was the most limited. They did 100 copies on white.
  8. Scott, please PM if a UK band starting with L was on that list...
  9. Putting a hold on your mail for a week is super easy. You're more likely to get your packages than if your picker-upper stops by your doorstep every other day. The only pain is going by the post office during normal business hours to fill out the form and then pick everything up. Nerves, calm.
  10. I would pick up a '1 of each release' bundle and at the right price it wouldn't matter if it were the "less limited" run. People can pick and choose which of the more limited runs they want to pick up and this bundle would help move some titles. For my bundle price, I'm a fan of nice round numbers.... like one that ends with a 0 and doesn't start with a 6. Pre-shipping price of course. Feel free to delete this post if the suggestion is too outrageous. You wouldn't need to make such a sweet deal for a 1 of everything (4 titles * 1.75 colors each) package... say, the largest two-digit number ending in a zero but postage paid (since the $3 shipping might hurt you on this one).
  11. So here's what I have: Inquisition-"Ideas Are Bulletproof" 1995 Soundhole 7" Inquisition/ Kilara 1995 Pop a Wheelie 7" Inquisition "Revolution, ..." 2001 Seven Lucky clear, 1st press #ed out of 500 12" Inquisition "Revolution, ..." 2001 Seven Lucky clear, PROMO press of 50 12" Inquisition "Revolution, ..." 2001 Seven Lucky blue, 2nd press of 500 12" On CD they also had: Broken Songs Revolution, ... (Pop A Wheelie Records, 1996; A-F Records, 2005) I'm not sure if my copy of Broken Songs is legit, it definitely has a CDR feel to it. If there's enough interest, I can scan the artwork and post here.
  12. Got mine in upstate NY on Tuesday containing: - #5 #6 # 7 (no jacket) all on grey - CD of the "Blueprint Sessions" - rerelease of Small Brown Bike "Nail yourself.. CD - Ragan pin anyone get any cool goodies?
  13. Wow, too bad the inlaws are visiting that weekend. So why did the 101 give way to Golden City?
  14. Married folks with a hankering for late 90's punk nonetheless!
  15. Thanks guys! For Fire... there was at least word of the LP details soon after the CD release.
  16. Haven't seen any mention of this, who's in the know?
  17. Told you I'd be in the minority, but I stand by my original comment... if everyone is telling you to cash in since collectors are willing to pay, print enough to reward some heavy purchaser and then sell em off later.
  18. Several years back I paid $69 for a Leatherface 7". I think it's justified (even in retrospect) but I don't really have anything on my wants list that I'd pay that much for these days.
  19. I might be in the minority but I think that it's lame to see labels sell test pressings *especially* so close to the release. Cash in your one extra tp in a few years.
  20. <- hypocrite says: These lists always seem like bragging but I guess it might make you contact me first trying to unload some similar stuff, so here's a handful: Sticks and Stones/ Weston 7" test press on Reservoir Pegboy- Three Chord Monte 12" test press on Quarterstick Jawbreaker - Live 4/30/96 12"#44/100 on Allied Leatherface - Mush 12" on Roughtrade V/a - Post marked stamps box set 10x7" on Tree
  21. Awesome thread! I want to see more pictures of everyone's shelving systems. I'll try to take some of mine when I get home.
  22. I'm game and would list a couple of things that I am looking to unload.
