  1. My bad. I was just following the protocol that I see on here all the time. I would have wanted to know the pre-order was live if I hadn't checked my e-mail.

I DEFINITELY appreciate you posting about this and don't think it's in bad form AT ALL. I am subscribed to the email list, but didn't get this one. You are the reason why I have my colored Nobunny. Thank you! I also like the way Goner handled this one.

  2.

I see your in Oakland - It looks like Nobunny is playing the Brick + Mortar in SF on 11/23. I'm thinking of hitting it up.

After that last show, I am going on a Nobunny live hiatus. I had to drag my ass out on a weeknight and was just generally pissed that he really didn't give a crap about the show. He barely even sang the lyrics to even one song. It was really bad and almost made me say FU to him altogether, but I have been to amazingly fun shows by him as well, so I am still onboard. Hopefully the SF show will be back to form.

  3. I ended up FINALLY joining 10c thinking I would get the red, but it doesn't sound like that's going to happen. So stupid, I should have joined to order the last live record!

I've only listened to LB about half way through, but I really like it so far. I didn't really have any expectations, but I can understand if you went in hoping for something specific you leave yourself open to disappointment. I read some post, on another board, and the guy just fucking hated this record. I don't understand how a supposed fan could hate this record that much. Very strange.

  4. The probability of the random lp variant falling within a particular range of values is given by the integral of this variant’s density over that range—that is, it is given by the area under the density function but above the horizontal axis and between the lowest and greatest ebay values of the range. The probability density function is nonnegative everywhere, and its integral over the entire space is equal to one colored variant of a record.

  5. Shipping notice received. Wish I waited now with all these discount codes floating around.

We will see how this order goes. When I ordered the Tom Waits 3 lp bundle from Popmarket, they didn't send me the CD it was supposed to come with. I bugged them on and off for a few months and it was always "on the way". I finally forgot about it and 6 months after I bought the bundle they sent me a whole new bundle. Strange, but a-okay.

  6.

Who knows, it could be an older >40 year old person who has money and is a fan of the band, which would be interesting since they don't fall into EITS's primary fan demographic.

I'm an "older" person and I have been into Explosions since their first record was released. It's the reason I was able to buy "How Strange Innocence" at their show, when they finally released it on vinyl. I don't think they have a narrow age demographic for their fanbase. Last time I saw them was at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco and the age range was all over the place. I may have even seen some people with gray hair(uh oh)! ;)

  7. We have big news today... a little while ago our pressing plant got in touch with us, it turns out that when they pressed the OFF! records they mistakenly started the run on pink vinyl. When they realized their mistake they set them aside and finished the job on the colors that we asked for: red, white, blue and yellow. They got in touch to tell us that they had a few boxes of pink (roughly 100 copies) and asked if we wanted them destroyed. Hell no! we said, ship them to us, and we quickly ran off an extra 100 covers to go with them. In light of our cover's subject, we've christened this color "Farrah Pink." We've got them for sale right now, I'm sure they will barely last the morning, so if you want one then get on it!

    Thanks for this!

  8. @lexicondevil - man, True Widow is one of my favorites. Give their records a chance - especially "AS high AS the Highest Heavens..." thats the fucking jam. Unless you have heard the albums, I can see how it would be hard to be into them live though.

I bought that poster too but our house cleaners mangled it!

I may give them a shot in the future. It was okay, but just went on way too long. I really hated that other band, though.

Thanks for the reminder, we have cleaning ladies coming tomorrow and I better pack my poster away!

  9. I've already ordered the AWS LP but after listening to Crusades' first LP, I feel like getting their new one too... Arghhhh!

Seriously just add it to your order. No Idea can help you out with that.

Crusades is a completely underrated band. If you like the sing a long "Walk Among Us" era of the Misfits, you will like Crusades. So glad someone on the boards recommended them a while ago. Who?

  10. Got to see her Monday and it was pretty good. The opening bands, Kreachur(Sp?) and True Widow really sucked the life out of me. I was thinking I might like True Widow, but they were boring. By the time Chelsea came on I was beat and not looking forward to waking up the next morning for work. I hope to see her again and not on a weeknight.

At the merch table they had the shirts on the website and both Pain and Unknown on vinyl. They also had a cool screenprinted poster that was used for the Portland, Seattle, and SF shows. I will post a pic when I can.
