mameeshkamowskwoz got a reaction from clh2285 in WTB...Records!
Stuff I have on that list I'd be willing to part with:
Aphex Twin Selected Ambient Works 2 (played twice)
Dillinger Escape Plan Operation Paralysis (clear /500 never played)
NIN The Slip sealed
PM me an offer or tradelist.

Try these instead...
It's not mind-blowing or anything, but 17 years ago I thought it was bad ass... now I just like it for nostalgic value.

It's all garbage... just send it to me without bothering to open it.
Seriously, though, if Lemonade and Brownies was available on vinyl I would have hunted that shit down long ago... only Sugar Ray album I could give a fuck about.

mameeshkamowskwoz got a reaction from paralyticstalks in Joyful Noise Test Pressing Week
Well, they did have a Kishi Bashi flexi test for something not yet released, so there is always a very very slim chance that they would have something oM that is unreleased at this point that is neither flexi nor cassette... very slim, though.... like, flexi slim.

I got all six... ouch... but I'll be happy once i get 'em!!
It does hurt a little less knowing that the money is going to a good cause, though.

His lack of musicianship.
Maybe I misunderstood the question?

BTW, per http://www.strictlydiscs.com/page/about/us/intheknow?id=195 the Incubus releases are:
Crow Left
Light Grenades
Make Yourself
SCIENCE (thank fucking God)
and Morning View
I recommend ordering here.
Last year I placed an order of 20+ items and was only unable to get one or two things (Sufjan Stevens & Po and Fathers)
And I got a lot of high demand low press items (Phish Pollack edition, Eddie Vedder)

mameeshkamowskwoz got a reaction from nothingnatural in PO: DJ Shadow - Total Breakdown: Hidden Transmissions from the MPC Era 1992-1996
Yeah some of The Outsider was great (This Time (I'm Gonna Try It My Way) is one of my fave songs of his ever) but I hear ya.
The Less You Know is pretty good, though.
If you think about it, it is damned impossible to ever touch Endtroducing and not just because of it's greatness, but also because of why it's great.
The man worked on his craft for over a decade so it was all leading up to that...
But this and the other old works compilation (The Four Track Era) are great because you get to hear all of his formative works, which ironically, helped me appreciate The Outsider all that more... you see how much he went back to his roots of emcee based hip-hop... unfortunately The Outsider focused primarily on hyphy bay area emcees...
I will back Shadow til the day I die... do not pass up the opportunity to see him live under any circumstances.
