weird. they were advertised as such. only thing weird about that pressing was a [typical] month or two delay. curious as to what it is numbered on still.

then what is it numbered on? the numbers are on the autographed insert, which is the "certificate of authenticity."

Well then. It's not every day you decide you want a band's debut album on vinyl, find out it's OOP, see it costs a couple hundy, then hear it's getting repressed within a month. All in about 2 minutes

I don't listen to them much, but this album is great.

I already have these, but it's rare that a band offers more for your money just for a delay that wasn't their fault. I'm gracious that not only are they adding extra to the purchase, but keeping us informed as well. Unheard of in this scene.

Don't worry about it. It's a great place with the best info in the biz. Unfortunately, you really do have to avoid saying certain things at certain times in certain threads so you're not deemed certain things in order to get by okay. The more you're here, the more you'll like it. Just ignore or laugh at the people who give you crap. All in all, it's in good fun. Yes, even with Dreamover.

 

More to the point, popsike.com is your go to. You'll see what things sold for on eBay. As a side note, if you do ever choose to sell things on here, know that you won't be selling as high as eBay.

oh sorry. not so much about the price. more about how i'm torn because I really do love barker-era blink but have zero interested in Cheshire and Buddha, don't need mtts, and probably wouldn't spring for greatest hits. this sounds awesome and would love to be a part of it. i'm sure you'll do it so freaking well so I don't want to miss out on an opportunity like this. just might be kind of lame to have a half-full box set, ya know?

Considering I only have/want 5 out of the 9(10) albums that would go in the box it would really just be wasted shelf space on me. Curious about the price point though...

It sounds pretty good, in fact - really good, but I wouldn't go as far as to say the best.

The recording and production IS excellent and probably the best done recording in all of recent history.

Problem: because they didn't feel like shipping the master tape around they had it transferred to digital, and the record was cut from the hi-rez files - the same ones included on USB. So I mean like, you might as well play it back from that for the absolute best sound currently available. The vinyl is cool and all but adds nothing but nostalgia to the experience.

Improvement 1 (small): do an ALL analog cut. Will most people notice/care? No. Would it be an improvement to some extent over the existing release? You betcha.

Improvement 2 (vast): do the above and have it spread out as a 45RPM 4LP... It would be like a lot of classic disco singles released in the 12" format, and the thought of how fucking good this would sound makes my mouth water.

So would an EU press have come from the master tape, making it sound more true?

So, fellas who seem to know what you're taking about... How sure are we that it'll be repressed on more colored?

So are US residents prevented from buying it then? Seems like what I'm hearing
