For sure. I had to sell that because it was, imo, unlistenable. I don't think I'll be selling this one until a repress with some form of assurance of better quality.

 

Yeah, i'll probably do the same. I do love the color scheme of this whole first pressing though. I hate not actually listening to this spin--I bout burned a hole in my sunfire split of separation.

can anyone give a heads up on what the hot topic variant sounds like. my opaque red from no sleep has mad surface noise and I'm considering buying another. hopefully the 2nd press is just on 180g black

Emailed No Sleep early yesterday and still no reply.

 

Okay, I guess I'm not alone. I thought maybe it was my turntable, but this HT pink version is maybe the noisiest record I own outside of TWY - Suburbia. I'll try another record again--I really hope this isn't the case. In no way do I want this to turn out poorly for No Sleep. I love the way Chris runs that label.

 

But yeah, it's bad enough to where I had to stop halfway through my first listen and switch to Google Music on my phone to really enjoy it.

I moved since placing all my backordered orders (staggered) and changed my address, but it didn't reflect on the site. Emailed customer support and I'm hoping that if they change my address on all of them, it doesn't act like I ordered them all on the same day and then I lose all my codes

Hmm interesting. I had to do this as well but I went in and did it myself on an order I knew would probably ship. Changed the mailing address for just that order and then emailed to have my default address changed. However, I don't know if that changed the mailing address for my current backordered items because I just left them knowing they will never ship.

Yeah I definitely gave this guy some quality listens. Two of my best friends back in Indiana claim this as their favorite record of the last 10 years. I could still listen to it fosho but there's too much out there I need to buy!

yeah that seems like a really bad move on barsuk. that is, assuming they do have access to them (I don't see why not). I know this wasn't a super rare record, but the fact that a repress of this magnitude just got announced and this is only 2 pages deep is super weird. obviously people aren't attaching to this. bad marketing from barsuk? gotta put out what the people want.
