  1. I hosted the YMAEWK download on my server for free until I had 100+ people kill my small server. Bandcamp had been relatively cheap and useful for me.
  2. I've never bought any records from band members, but I've been given a few. I have quite a bit of odd merch items I have been given too when my dad worked with a couple bands back in the day (Fugazi, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Janes Addiction, Dead Kennedys, etc)
  3. I still have the dude as a friend on Facebook. He occasionally likes my statuses. http://www.facebook.com/adam.hamilton.716
  4. All of them are. I remember when my Hot Topic had a stack of these for $2.98 for about 6 months and couldn't sell them.
  5. I know, I know. It's since been sitting on the desk beside everything.
  6. It is, haha. It's since been rearranged a bit, this was a photo when I was first testing all the new speakers out to see which sounded best to me.
  7. AudioKarma is really good for finding out info on certain speakers, but some of the guys in that forum are super audiophiles and get extremely picky when talking about specs. All of my speakers I've gotten could be considered "thrift store" speakers, but I think I've done pretty pretty well. The large speakers are some 70's Fishers and they sound pretty good. I just got them and am going to be replacing all the foam, etc. soon. I picked up the pair of those, along with a JBL Venue floor-standing speaker all for $25 at a garage sale because they were missing grills. The looked like crap in the sun, and then I tried moving them and noticed they were actual wood and heavy as hell. The book-shelf JBL I found at a thrift store that strictly sold storage unit items, $15. When I bought my receiver, tape deck, and CD changer the guy included that big 'ol Sony sub and 2 Pioneer floor-speakers from the last 6 years or so, all for $60. Keep an eye on Craigslist and your local thrift/discount stores and Google anything you think might be decent.
  8. You should really take that $35 Ross offered you. It's about the best you'll get.
  9. Find some old JBLs on CL or eBay. I love mine, paid $30 for the pair.
  10. Well, my good friend was gonna pick me up a copy in SLC but I'm not sure that they will last until then with people buying 5 copies at a time. If anyone happens to pick up an extra and would be willing to sell it at cost, I'd really appreciate it.
  11. I've really been wanting to pick up those Dangerous Summer albums but I'm hearing that the audio quality is terrible, is that true?
  12. Was not aware of this. Picked up first pressings of both albums 2 weeks ago, and just picked up Bars of Gold.
  13. Finally heard these guys and I dig it. I'm not sure if I dig it enough to spend $30 on it, though.
