  1. Not my thing, either, but it's not bad. Well played and such. Good luck dude.
  2. I just got back into comics. Hadn't read them since I was a kid. Right now I'm pretty obsessed with Star Wars stuff. The Star Wars: Republic/Dark Times series in particular, but I found a gnarly near complete chronological torrent of just about everything, so I'm reading bits and pieces of others as I go. I got a trade of the first volume of Sandman that I've almost finished. I need to buy the next one. I've been reading X-Men Legacy a bit, too. I read Batman: Year One and have The Long Halloween and Hush downloaded. Need to start those soon. Oh, and what got me started on this comic kick was The Walking Dead comics. I'm caught up on those and now it's killing me reading month to month.
  3. I didn't get any records for Christmas, but I picked up a few for myself a couple weeks ago. Nirvana "In Utero" on 180 gram yellow vinyl, Street Eaters "Rusty Eyes and Hydrocarbons", and Landlord "Beneath The Wheel".
  4. Thats awesome, never thought of using Bean. his nickname is Rooter, though it didnt come from Speaker, though we are glad it fits. If we had a daughter her name was going to be Valentine. Haha, such great names. Love those books. My friend named his son Ethan Parker Rich. Parker as in Peter Parker (Spiderman). I thought that was pretty hilarious. I work at CVS. It's a shitty company and I don't get very many hours a week. I don't make enough money to buy as many records as I used to...
  5. Fuuuuck. That's so cool. I really need to make it to one of these NOFX/Lagwagon dates.
  6. Haha..."You stupid slut. This is the worst review I have ever read."
  7. I didn't mind the BSG ending, really. What bothered me is that Season 4 had so many just huge info dump episodes. It would have been cool if they had a better arc to stretch over that season and one more season instead of dropping so much shit all at once. But I digress, I think AHS will probably go with the whole new story with a different family, different house, etc. I really hope they work something cool out, because this show is one of my favorites. If the next season sucks I'll be so disappointed.
  8. I need to read up on the politics and sociological background of Indonesia, because I'm just wondering what brought this on all of a sudden. There's obviously a punk/alternative music scene there and probably has been for a while. Some guy on Punknews posted a video of a kid singing "The Brews" by NOFX on Indonesian Idol. It's popular enough for that to happen, so why would they get all crazy about it now?
  9. Crazy indeed. I thought I had it bad in high school getting called a fag and having shit thrown at me.
  10. A couple months ago Green Day played a secret show to about 100 people at 1234 Go! Records in Oakland. I would have killed to see that if I'd known about it. I probably wouldn't pay to see them at the arena shows they normally do these days. I'm okay with never seeing them again since I got to see them at Warped Tour 2000, right before Warning, yet I don't remember them playing one song from it. They played for like an hour or longer because they were the last band. Lit the drumset on fire, brought a dude on stage from the crowd to play guitar for the Operation Ivy cover, etc. Great show.
  11. I'll admit, I totally thought of Dexter's dad first, though. Ha.
  12. M*A*S*H was so good. When I moved for college I spent a lot of time in my room with no cable. The only channel that came in clearly played like 2 hours of the re-runs every night and I ended up getting really into it. Definitely still relevant today.
  13. I downloaded a torrent of issues 1-89 a little over a month ago. It's really good, but now it's killing me waiting to read the issues month by month.
  14. I'm in a punk/folk band called Tyrannosaurus Zebra. After reading some of the names in this thread I'm starting to think we might not have the worst name ever, but it's still pretty bad. It hasn't proved to be a problem so far, but I probably wouldn't listen to a band with our crappy name.
  15. And the debate about the morality of purchasing Charles Manson's music begins...
  16. I liked the songs I heard by Yuck, but I went to see them live a couple months ago and they bored me. I dunno...maybe I'll get the album and check it out.
  17. http://www.buzzfeed.com/daves4/green-day-hates-steve-jobs Did anyone catch this on punknews? Fucking moron...

  19. In last seasons finale he totally avenged her death when he killed Agent Stahl. Yeah, it was her lie that put that whole situation in motion. I was so glad when she finally died. That character was such a bitch!
  20. Anymore? Yeah, I didn't know it was ever cool to like Crazy Town.
  21. Yeah, the only thing I cared about was that Josh Small record. I figured there might be SOMEONE on here that doesn't have all the decent stuff already, though.
